JAKARTA — In line with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) program, Dompet Dhuafa strives to continue to realize quality and sustainable services, advocacy and empowerment for the community. This effort will increasingly have an impact on sustainable community independence through collaboration with various parties.
In the health pillar, Dompet Dhuafa through Cuma-cuma Health Services (LKC) has a Healthy Area program. The Healthy Area Program is an effort to build a healthy lifestyle in an area by promoting the concept of health empowerment based on seven indicators, namely maternal and child health, stunting elimination, management of Non-Communicable Diseases (PTM), Tuberculosis (TB) management, productive green environment, good sanitation, and mentally and spiritually healthy.
Broadly speaking, this program is expected to be able to change and encourage the community to participate in disease prevention efforts by managing, screening cases, building awareness through mentoring, monitoring, providing access to health information by increasing activities in the community.

The Healthy Area Program has been present in various regions. On Wednesday (29/05/2024), LKC Dompet Dhuafa Jakarta added a new list of program areas by launching the Healthy Area Program in RW 013, Pejagalan Village, Penjaringan District, North Jakarta City, DKI Jakarta Province.
The event, which was held solemnly and enthusiastically, was inaugurated by the Head of Penjaringan Sub-District, Darmawan, marked by symbolically giving nutrition boosters to representatives of the program targets (pregnant women, toddlers and TB patients) as well as prospective beneficiaries of healthy latrine construction as a target on the indicator of good environmental sanitation. The RW 013 Healthy Area Program was symbolically inaugurated with a ribbon cutting procession and the signing of a commitment board by all stakeholders and all related parties.
“LKC as the facilitator of the healthy area program is planned to assist RW 013 for a maximum of 3 years and an evaluation will be carried out annually,” said Iwan Ridwan as Secretary of the Dompet Dhuafa Integrated Healthy House Foundation in his speech.
Darmawan as the Head of Penjaringan Subdistrict also appreciated and fully supported this activity by mobilizing all relevant stakeholders, both at the sub-district and village levels.

Also present at this event were the Pejagalan village team, the Pejagalan Sub-District Health Center Team, the Head of the Funding Division and the Dompet Dhuafa Integrated Healthy Home Foundation partnership program, Religious Leaders, the Village Consultative Body (LMK), the ranks of RW 013 officials, all RT heads and Health Cadres, and followed by the community who will be the target of the Healthy Area program.
“We, the residents of RW 013, welcome the health program from LKC Dompet Dhuafa Jakarta. Hopefully there will be good cooperation between us in improving health and a clean lifestyle in the RW 013 area,” said Yono as the head of RW 013 Pejagalan Village.
