JAKARTA —-— Our journey through Ramadan 1443 AH has come to an end, a special month for us to improve ourselves and provide as much benefit as possible. However, the real challenge lies ahead: will we be able to maintain the good deeds we did during Ramadan in our daily lives? We must not let all the kindness and benefits we spread during Ramadan fade away in the future.
Dompet Dhuafa, as a philanthropic institution committed to distributing Zakat, Infak, Shadaqah, and Wakaf (ZISWAF) funds to the community, certainly played a role in the momentum of Ramadan 1443 H. This can be seen from the distribution of ZISWAF funds in 28 provinces with a total of 214,130 beneficiaries.
During Ramadan this year, Dompet Dhuafa also managed to collect Rp 35,680,368,219 from individual and corporate donors, among others. These funds were managed efficiently through various programs created by Dompet Dhuafa, such as Food For Dhuafa (25,776 people), Sedekah Quran (3,794 people), Berbagi Sahur (1,345 people), Mosque Renovation & Cleaning (8 mosques), Takjil Package Distribution (14,498 people), Ramadan Village Raids (815 people), Breaking Fast Package Distribution (13,576 people), Mustahik Merchandise Purchasing (969 people), Zakat Fitrah Distribution (116,547 people), Health Services (3,978 people), Orphan & Poor Assistance (3,183 people), Study & Education Events (13,796 people), THR for Teachers & Quran Teachers (166 people), Integrated Homecoming Command Post (9,414 people), and various other productive programs (6,492 people).
“Alhamdulillah, during Ramadan 1443 AH, Dompet Dhuafa has begun distributing the donations entrusted to them by donors to those in need since the first day of Ramadan. This is a form of Dompet Dhuafa’s commitment to the trust that has been given to them. Until the end of Ramadan, we have successfully distributed these donations through our entire network throughout Indonesia so that the benefits reach all corners of the country,” explained Etika Setiawanti, Director of Resource Mobilization at Dompet Dhuafa.
The trust given by donors is a positive encouragement for Dompet Dhuafa to continue to #BeBeneficial with the widest possible reach.
