MAKASSAR, SOUTH SULAWESI – In order to socialize the spirit of Humanesia (Humanity and Indonesia) 2022, Dompet Dhuafa South Sulawesi held a Community and KOL gathering event with the theme of One Day About Us “Ini Tentang Kita” (It’s About Us) at The Society Makassar, Saturday (12/17/2022). The event was enthusiastically welcomed by 60 invitees who attended it.
Through this gathering, Dompet Dhuafa invited Communities and Influencers to synergize with each other for humanitarian programs through their respective platforms. This event was hosted by Nana Djamal as the Host and also attended by Dedi Fadlil as Vice Chairman of Humanesia, Lia Djabir as Key Opinion Leader, and Ashari Ramadhan from Makassar Creative Community Network who presented in the Sharing Inspiration Talk Show session.
This gathering marks the opening of the Humanesia program, especially in South Sulawesi. Humanesia focuses on public awareness of humanity. To make this happen, Humanesia will target society involvement from millennials and gen z including the role of the communities and KOL’s contribution in broadcasting the call to kindness.

This event is also an initial momentum in building the knowledge of the younger generation to become a connector of kindness in the Humanesia campaign. This year, Humanesia raised the theme of #IniTentangKita (It’s about us), as it means that everyone needs to act starting with themselves to provide benefits.
In this Humanesia campaign in 2022, Dompet Dhuafa invited more parties involved in the dedication of the ‘Indonesia Siap Siaga’ program for those affected by disasters. Sharing the meaning of courage to the ‘Tough Women’. Giving ‘Year-End Gifts’ to the orphaned children from us foster siblings. Even ‘Waqf for Mothers’ became a dedication of eternal prayer for parents.
On this occasion, Dedi Fadlil as Vice Chairman of Humanesia 2023 said, this year’s Humanesia collaborated a lot with all parties so that we could continue to voice and to invite others to start kindness.
“Dompet Dhuafa in the Humanesia 2022 campaign: Ini Tentang Kita opens up collaboration of kindness to all parties, ranging from the communities, KOL, media, and all partners of kindness to jointly care more about others. Because to start a good thing, you can start from small things and you can inspire and invite others to start it too,” said Dedi.
As a social media activist, Lia Djabir said that everyone could take part from anywhere through any platforms.
“Social media is one of the platforms that can impact the caring movement through small things, starting with sharing kindness call posts,” said Lia.
Meanwhile, Ashari Ramadhan revealed that the existing communities would be an opportunity in this year’s Humanesia campaign.
“We have more than 30 social communities, this will be our opportunity to be able to synergize to become a connector of kindness,” said Ashari.
With the various different backgrounds that exist in Indonesia, it makes one similarity echoing the kindness of us to support humanity and to help strengthen each other.
