LAMPUNG – In an effort to prevent and address stunting, Dompet Dhuafa Lampung, in collaboration with the Pringsewu Regency Government, once again distributed Healthy Child Nutrition Packages. This time, a total of 20 packages were distributed in the Pardasuka District, Pringsewu Regency, on Friday, August 18, 2023.
The distribution of nutrition packages took place at the Pardasuka District Office. The beneficiaries of the Healthy Child Nutrition Packages came from several villages in the Pardasuka District, including Kedaung Village, Pardasuka Village, South Pardasuka Village, East Pardasuka Village, Pujodadi Village, Rantau Tijang Village, Selapan Village, Sidodadi Village, and Sukorejo Village.
The recipients of the packages were delighted, and Kartika (33), a housewife whose husband works as a casual laborer, expressed their gratitude for the assistance.

“Alhamdulillah, thank you for the nutrition package assistance. May it be a blessing for the donors and everyone involved,” she said.
The Head of the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) of Pringsewu Regency, Akhmad Fadoli, represented by the Head of the Community Empowerment and Development Section (Bidang P2M), Christianto, explained that this assistance serves as a stimulus for mothers to pay more attention to the nutritional intake of their children’s growth and development.
“Ladies and gentlemen, we welcome this assistance. Please note that this assistance is a stimulus. The rest is up to you, the parents, to play a central role in preventing stunting,” said Christianto.
Meanwhile, the sub-district, represented by Sudarman, expressed gratitude and hope for the continuity of this program. He hoped that this collaboration could continue because it greatly helps impoverished communities in addressing stunting.
“I express my gratitude to Dompet Dhuafa Lampung and also the Pringsewu Health Office, as well as the Pardasuka Health Center, for their assistance to my residents. Hopefully, this program can continue because it helps impoverished communities and addresses stunting,” said Sudarman.
Yogi Achmad Fajar, the Branch Manager of Dompet Dhuafa Lampung, added that the distribution of Healthy Child Nutrition Packages is part of Dompet Dhuafa Lampung’s Movement for Nutrition Awareness (Gerakan Sadar Gizi or Genzi) Program. This program aims to assist in the prevention and management of stunting in Lampung.
“It is hoped that the Healthy Child Nutrition Packages can provide benefits to the beneficiaries. Additionally, it is hoped that it will also encourage community awareness in preventing stunting,” he said.
Previously, Dompet Dhuafa Lampung had also distributed more than a hundred Healthy Child Nutrition Packages and Pregnant Mother Nutrition Packages in the Adi Luwih District of Pringsewu Regency, Gedong Tatatan District of Pesawaran Regency, and Teluk Betung Barat District of Bandar Lampung City.
