BOGOR, WEST JAVA — Islamic Religious Education Teachers (GPAI) held a big event for an Islamic short course (Sanlat Akbar) se-Klapanunggal to build Islamic personality values and knit Ukhuwah Islamiyah. The inaugural Grand Sanlat, which will be held in 2023, follows the theme “With this event, We Build Islamic Personalities and Togetherness.” The Klapanunggal District Education Office and GPAI Klapanunggal supervisors fully support this activity.
The big event for this Islamic short course activities series will be held two days from Friday to Saturday, April 7-8, 2023. Located at Cibinong Smart School Dompet Dhuafa, the activity participants comprised 66 elementary school students representing 33 schools and approximately 20 guidance teachers or assistants.

During the activity, children will get the same experience as in a genuine Islamic boarding school, namely staying in Smart Cibinong classrooms that have been arranged like dormitories. The activities are exciting and fun for children. Children are presented with Islamic materials through games, watching movies, and ice-breaking interludes.
GPAI supervisor Ustad Makmun Nawawi, S.Pda said this event is a new, inaugural event; even up to Bogor Regency, activity has been different. Hopefully, this will be the first step so that, in the future, it can be transmitted to other sub-districts. This activity takes a concept of Synergy between schools in Klapanunggal sub-district so that each school sends two students.
