JAKARTA – Jakarta Humanity Festival (Jakhumfest) 2023, which took place at Pos Bloc, Pasar Baru, Central Jakarta, officially opened on Sunday (29/1/2023) morning. Shortly after the opening ceremony of Jakhumfest 2023, Dompet Dhuafa immediately introduced its newest communication program, namely the Mobile Podcast “Sightseeing: Telling Stories of Community Empowerment Programs”. This Mobile Podcast is packaged as a modified car resembling a podcast studio.
Secretary of Dompet Dhuafa Republika Foundation, Yayat Supriyatna, said in his speech that this program is Dompet Dhuafa’s effort to broadcast kindness through interesting chats loved by Millennials and Gen Z.

Mobile Podcast Bertamasya is also presented to inform donors and the public about real-time humanitarian and social events and disasters. The goal is that we can all respond quickly and appropriately.
“So later, if there is a natural disaster, if there is a response, meet with whom, it is us who go to the subject, not we invite it to our studio.”
“Hopefully, this can provide broad benefits for Dompet Dhuafa’s communication with stakeholders and the community,” said Yayat Supriyatna.

In line with that, General Manager (GM) of Dompet Dhuafa Communications, Dian Mulyadi, the person who heads this program, also hopes that the Mobile Podcast Bertamasya can be a source of information for the public to know the latest social and humanitarian events. And also, of course, about the Dompet Dhuafa program itself.
“Hopefully, this Mobile Podcast can accelerate access to humanitarian information sources, both disasters, socialization, education and all related to humanity.”
“With the Mobile Podcast, Dompet Dhuafa can immediately jump into reporting to the public, especially in this case the aghniya or donors, so that they know the conditions that occur in real-time, God willing,” he explained.

Dian Mulyadi also said that this mobile podcast would operate in the Jabodetabek area in the early stages. However, in the future, this mobile podcast may use outside the Jabodetabek area, depending on the situation, conditions, and urgency.
“It is possible that one day the mobile podcast will be mobilized to Dompet Dhuafa branches spread across 29 provinces. So, it may operate anywhere,” concluded Dian.
The “Bertamasya” Mobile Podcast will operate with a driver and a broadcast team and go around the discussion places.
