Knitting Solidarity for Palestine, Emergency Mosque Begins Operation in North Gaza

PALESTINE — Solidarity for the Palestinian people continues to burn from all directions. In the midst of a damaged urban situation, Dompet Dhuafa has set up an emergency mosque in the Al-Shati refugee camp in North Gaza as a form of support for Gazans who want to worship, especially during this Ramadan.

Starting Saturday (15/03/2025), the mosque can be used for worship activities, such as Fardhu Prayers and Tarawih Prayers or other religious and social activities. In coordination with the Palestinian Ministry of Waqf, Dompet Dhuafa built the mosque on waqf land.

Thank you to the donors and collaborators of Dompet Dhuafa’s kindness. However, to date, Israel continues to slaughter innocent civilians in the Gaza Strip. The people of Gaza must continue to fight against oppression and endure considerable suffering.

Current Situation in the Gaza Strip

Three days after the emergency mosque Dompet Dhuafa was operational, on Tuesday (18/03/2025) to be precise, Israeli soldiers carried out multiple massacres in the Gaza Strip. The attacks took the form of intensive aerial bombardments of civilian areas.
