TANGERANG —-— The Indonesian Empowered Entrepreneurs Foundation (YWIB) of Dompet Dhuafa, together with the Independence Institute (IK) of Dompet Dhuafa, officially launched the fourth branch of Bengkel Promatic as a business unit resulting from the Two-Wheeler Automotive SME Incubation Program on Wednesday (February 25, 2025) in Karawaci, Tangerang City, Banten.
The Promatic Workshop is a business incubation initiative serving as the next phase of the vocational training program conducted by the Institute of Independence. As an integral part of the development ecosystem, this workshop was developed as an economic empowerment model based on automatic motorcycle service skills through a structured incubation system—ranging from technical capacity building, business management mentoring, to professional financial and operational governance. The Promatic Workshop is also part of the development plan for five incubation units with professional service standards and a focus on business sustainability.

“We have structured this empowerment program into a business model to create new job opportunities. “We apply zakat funds within a measurable and sustainable empowerment framework,” he explained.
Located in Karawaci, Tangerang, the Promatic Workshop addresses the high demand for automatic motorcycle service in an area densely populated by people of working age. In the initial operational phase, the facility aims for a service capacity of 2,400 motorcycles per year, or approximately 200 units per month.
This launch underscores the synergy between YWIB and IK in presenting a financially sustainable, socially impactful, and market-responsive automotive SME incubation model. (Dompet Dhuafa)
