TANGERANG, BANTEN – Parni Hadi, the Initiator and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Dompet Dhuafa, published the book “Reportase Puitis” at the Wardah IK Building Hall in Karawaci, Tangerang on Wednesday, August 23, 2023.
During the book launch event, Parni Hadi signed the Giant Book Cover of “Reportase Puitis” and gave books as gifts to Andi Makmur Makka, a Member of the Board of Trustees of Dompet Dhuafa; Izzuddin Abdul Manaf, a Member of the Sharia Supervisory Board of Dompet Dhuafa; Rahmad Riyadi, the Chairman of the Management of Dompet Dhuafa; Yuniarko, the Treasurer of the Management of RST Dompet Dhuafa; and Puji Astuti, the GM of Governance Corporate Affairs of Dompet Dhuafa.

“On this day, we are delighted to witness the journey of his work. May this delivery be a significant responsibility and hold extraordinary values. I must say that news can be content, but not all content is news,” said Yayat Supriyatna.
Indeed, it was Parni Hadi’s profound reflections that led him to write the book titled “Reportase Puitis,” which was launched on that historic day. As a Prophetic Journalist, Parni Hadi strives to combine the 5W+1H of journalism with literary artistry.
Delivering words of wisdom, Parni Hadi shared with the audience that we age and must accept its consequences because organ functions decrease after the age of 35. He advised everyone to embrace the past, present, and future with peace and gratitude.

“I am a senior journalist. The spirit of a journalist is freedom, but freedom for justice and justice for peace. Independence, freedom, justice, and peace for all beings. Rahmatan lil alamin,” exclaimed Parni Hadi.
“Yes, especially for journalists. Work quickly, carefully, accurately, economically, beneficially, and with dignity. This is ethics, culture, and religion. I developed this formula based on my experience at Antara News Agency, Republika, RRI, in Germany, and now: the 5W+1H of journalism—who, what, when, where, and how.” he stated clearly.
“Social media is now very influential, fast, and it elevates the work of journalists. However, I am concerned about the artistic aspect of social media. That is why writing a book is important; books add depth and nuance to social media. Be mindful of the long-term impact of your work.,” emphasized Parni Hadi.
At the age of 30, Dompet Dhuafa remains committed to spreading the kindness it has been doing since its inception. The same goes for Parni Hadi, who turned 75 years old in August. With age comes deeper reflection and the realization that happiness does not lie in what we possess but in what we give and share with others.
“Do it with spirituality. Unite the qualities in the name ‘Rahsa.’ Cultivate feeling, intention, and action. Know your own feelings and those of others. Sayyidina Ali’s message: whoever knows himself, knows his God,” advised Parni Hadi.
Simultaneously on that day, Dompet Dhuafa, through the Institute for Independence (IK), in collaboration with DD Konstruksi, inaugurated the Skilled Craftsman School Program (STUKA). Regarding STUKA, he explained that the program was born from the need to create jobs and provide income for people. The Dompet Dhuafa trilogy is to build villages, combat urban poverty, and manage urban disasters. The name STUKA was chosen for its powerful energy and solid values.

In a solemn moment, Juperta Panji and Yuyun Wahyuningsih recited poetry from Parni Hadi’s book, “Reportase Puitis”. The program continued with the presentation of birthday gifts in the form of handcrafted souvenirs from the Institute for Independence to Parni Hadi.
The joyful occasion was made even more special when Parni Hadi and his wife, Rita, cut the ceremonial rice cone (tumpeng) and presented it to the attendees who were also celebrating their birthdays in August: Yuyun Wahyuningsih, Abdurrahman Usman, Asep Hendrayana, and Jiyono.
