JAKARTA — Dompet Dhuafa, through its Free Health Service (LKC) program unit, collaborated with the Pertamina Hulu Rokan National Zakat Institution (LAZNas PHR) Jakarta to distribute nutrition packages. The packages were given to hundreds of residents in Kebayoran Lama Subdistrict, South Jakarta, on Friday (15/12/2023).
The Kebayoran Lama Subdistrict is also where the Healthy Area Program by LKC Dompet Dhuafa Jakarta is implemented. This distribution represents a synergy of goodwill, wrapped in an activity titled the Nutrition Package Sharing Program by LKC Dompet Dhuafa with LAZnas PHR Jakarta.
“We hope this distribution truly benefits the recipients and encourages them to adopt a healthy lifestyle through balanced nutrition intake. We ask for prayers from everyone so that the donors at PT. PHR are always blessed by Allah and their wealth purified,” explained Satya Prihatmoko, Director of LAZNas Pertamina Hulu Rokan.
On the same occasion, Juperta Panji Utama, Head of the Health Philanthropy Division at the Integrated Health House Foundation (YRST), explained that this nutrition package is an expression of gratitude and a trust for LKC Dompet Dhuafa from LAZNas Pertamina Hulu Rokan Jakarta.
“We have received various feedback from the community expressing their happiness and eagerness to make the most of this assistance. They also promised not to sell or exchange these nutrition packages for other needs. The community here is in a minimal condition, but optimistic about maintaining their family’s health,” said Panji.
Echoing this sentiment, Muhammad Nasir, the Head of RW 011 in South Kebayoran Lama Village, described the economic conditions and life in his community there belongs to the lower-middle economic group. Most houses measure 2.5 meters x 7 meters and are divided into two parts.
“The condition of the community here is mostly lower-middle class. Houses measuring 2.5 meters x 7 meters are divided into 2 parts and inhabited by two families. I would like to thank LKC Dompet Dhuafa and LAZNas Pertamina Hulu Rokan Jakarta. May their deeds be recorded and rewarded by Allah SWT,” said Nasir.
Astuti, one of the beneficiaries of the nutrition package, expressed her joy at receiving the package to meet her family’s needs.
“I am thankful and grateful for the nutrition package sharing program from LKC Dompet Dhuafa and LAZNas Pertamina Hulu Rokan Jakarta. It greatly helps meet the nutritional needs of our toddlers.
