JAKARTA —-— As part of the ongoing Ramadan Kalcer series, Dompet Dhuafa is hosting an event titled “Ruang Temu” as a space for self-reflection during the month of Ramadan. This event is designed to offer a break from the daily grind, while also providing a space for participants to let go of things that have been weighing on their minds. Presented as a silent concert, Ruang Temu serves as an engagement initiative for Dompet Dhuafa donors. The event took place on Saturday (March 7, 2026) at the Usmar Ismail Film Center in Kuningan, Jakarta.
Dompet Dhuafa’s Ruang Temu featured Aisyah Dahlan and Panji Sakti. Embracing the silent concert concept, participants followed the entire program through headphones. They listened attentively to every reflective message delivered by Aisyah Dahlan, while also enjoying the distinctive musical melodies of Panji Sakti.

The combination of soothing words and gentle music immersed the participants in a serene atmosphere. It was a space to find peace amid the hustle and bustle of life, to organize one’s heart, to clear one’s mind, and to reaffirm the meaning of the spiritual journey during the holy month of Ramadan.
The high level of public enthusiasm led to the show’s tickets selling out—over 400 tickets, comprising Dompet Dhuafa donors and the general public. The event opened with a recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a “Welcome Space” session led by Etika Setiawanti, Director of Resources & Mobilization at Dompet Dhuafa.
During the Welcome Session, Etika noted that this event differed from previous activities by offering a profound meaning to the participants—specifically, the process of releasing emotional burdens—which she suggested was what the participants needed most.

“This is the next level of Dompet Dhuafa’s donor activation, offering a different meaning and different benefits from what we usually do. We appreciate all the donors who attended and the sponsors who supported this event,” said Etika.
“There Is a Space for Peace Here” is the overarching theme designed to provide insight into the process of letting go of emotional burdens.

“The point is really that our hearts shouldn’t hold onto negative things, deeply sad events, feelings of frustration, or resentment, because they will drown out the voice of God within our hearts,” said Aisyah Dahlan.

According to Aisyah Dahlan, there are three key steps we can take to become more courageous in acknowledging and expressing the things we’ve kept bottled up, while also learning to seek God’s help.
“So earlier I also shared about achieving sincerity through the 3Ms: Acknowledging, Letting Go or Lifting Up, and Asking. Hopefully, this is one of the efforts through which we can reach the level of accepting an event and then surrendering it back to Allah the Almighty. Hopefully, that is what is meant by sincerity and Tawakkal ‘ala Allah,” Aisyah continued.

In the final session, Panji Sakti performed several songs with his signature guitar strums, creating a quiet and serene atmosphere. The slow, flowing melody allowed the participants to lose themselves in a deep silence. When he performed the song “Kepada Noor,” the atmosphere shifted; the participants’ voices began to echo as they all sang along to the song in unison.
The collaboration between Panji Sakti and Aisyah Dahlan is a collaboration for a good cause; all funds raised from ticket sales will be allocated to survivors in Sumatra.

“To my brothers and sisters in Sumatra, may Allah grant you patience and sincerity; may I be able to go there; may I be able to visit my friends and spend time with them,” Panji Sakti told Dompet Dhuafa.
During the silent concert, Panji noted that this was the performance with the largest audience, breaking a record for the Bandung-based musician.
“We’ve held silent concerts many times before, using headphones, and this broke a personal record for us—the largest audience, over 400 people—so this is an extraordinary day,” he added.

Attending as participants, Ida Ruspita and Mikayla expressed their enthusiasm for attending the Gathering. For Ida, this event serves as a way to keep Allah in mind.
“It brings us such peace; the heart is located in the center of our chest. When we constantly remember Allah through frequent remembrance, and keep our Creator in mind, we become stronger, so let’s not let that leave us,” said Ida.

Meanwhile, Mikayla describes Ruang Temu as a space for reflection, where she can look back on the journey she has taken so far. (Dompet Dhuafa)
