JAKARTA – The Sound of Humanity event taking place at Gading Festival, Sedayu City, Jakarta, on Monday (28/11/30) became one of Dompet Dhuafa’s efforts in helping disaster victims in Cianjur. This event was held with the aim of inviting and increasing public awareness that victims of the Cianjur Earthquake disaster still needed assistance.
Until now, Dompet Dhuafa has continuously helped victims affected by the disaster in Cianjur. Various kinds of assistance have been distributed by Dompet Dhuafa, such as medical assistance, emergency tents, patient transportation, disaster psychology services, sending search and rescue teams, and others.
Also present at this event were several musicians and celebrities such as Mr. Jarwo, Indra The Rain, Vikri Rasta, Marjinal, Aldi Taher, Abdel Achrian, and Dini Andromeda. The musicians attending this event entertained the public who attended the event on the spot and audiences who watched live through Dompet Dhuafa TV (DD TV) YouTube channel.

Before the music concert started, Aldi and Dini as the hosts of the event greeted the volunteers who were in Cianjur to ask how things were going there now. Like Barqu, a Disaster Management Center (DMC) volunteer located at the Dompet Dhuafa main post. He reported that there were at least 40 (forty) volunteers who focused on finding the missing residents.
In this event, a humanitarian donation from InDriver was also held, Georgy Malcov as Country Manager of InDriver Indonesia said, “Thank you very much to Dompet Dhuafa for the cooperation that has been carried out. This is not the first cooperation but the second time. Hopefully, the assistance we provide can ease the burden on the affected residents,” he said.
Furthermore, Gibran as the Brand Manager of PT Agrinesia expressed his condolences for the disaster experienced by friends and brothers in Cianjur. His party was very happy to collaborate with Dompet Dhuafa in this humanitarian activity.
At the end of the event, Dian Mulyadi as General Manager of Communication & Corporate Secretary of Dompet Dhuafa expressed his appreciation to Putri Ratnoali as Chief People Office and Corporate Secretary of PT. Widodo Makmur Perkasa TBK. According to Dian, Widodo Makmur Perkasa had distributed aid through Dompet Dhuafa in the form of 10,000 (ten thousand) portions of nutritious food for residents affected by the Cianjur earthquake.
