Nearing the End of Ramadan, MPZ Dompet Dhuafa OK OCE Humanity Holds Orphanage Benefit

MPZ Dompet Dhuafa OK OCE Kemanusiaan Gelar Santunan Yatim Dhuafa

JAKARTA — The month of Ramadan is coming to an end. Good deeds are increased to optimize the remaining time. Because, we may not be given the chance to meet the next Ramadan. MPZ Dompet Dhuafa OK OCE Kemanusiaan is present as a real place to share and care for others, especially in the month of Ramadan. For this reason, MPZ Dompet Dhuafa OK OCE Kemanusiaan held an Orphan Benefit on Wednesday (3/4/2024).

The event titled “Ramadan Memuliakan” was a form of the spirit of sharing and caring for others in this noble month of Ramadan. The event consisted of a series of activities. Starting from sharing takjil, sharing holiday allowances (THR), as well as compensation and breaking the fast with orphans held at the OK OCE Kemanusiaan Office, Tebet, Jakarta.

“Ramadan Memuliakan” aims to provide compensation to orphans and the poor to ensure they feel the happiness and warmth of family in the moment of breaking the fast together. The activity is also proof that professionally managed zakat can provide broad benefits and impacts.

The event was attended by OK OCE Indonesia (OOI) and OK OCE Humanitarian (OOK) administrators, local community leaders, orphans, and mustahik. Azwa as the OOI Executive Board said that “Ramadan Memuliakan” was held to instill the values of togetherness, care, and empathy in ourselves to glorify people in need.

“Hopefully we can bring joy and hope to those in need, and strengthen togetherness in building a better society,” he said.

Budi Herdi Nopianto as the OOK Board member said that this activity is a small step that carves kindness and care for the surrounding.
