Niarti, Assisted Teacher of LPI Dompet Dhuafa in the Interior Receives the Meritorious Women Award from the Deputy Governor of Riau

RIAU — Niarti, one of the teachers of the Sekolah Literasi Indonesia (SLI) Lembaga Pengembangan Insani (LPI) Dompet Dhuafa who has served in the hinterland of Nunusan Hamlet, Rantau Langsat Village, Indragiri Hulu Regency, since 2020. Niarti won the Meritorious and Outstanding Women Award in Riau Province for her service.

The award is a form of appreciation for Niarti’s dedication, hard work, and extraordinary talent. The award was handed over directly by the Deputy Governor of Riau, Brigadier General TNI (Ret.) Edy Natar Nasution, at the peak commemoration of Kartini Day at the Regional Building, Jalan Diponegoro, Pekanbaru.

Niarti, LPI Dompet Dhuafa’s Assisted Teacher, received the Anugerah Perempuan Bermeri dan Berprestasi award throughout Riau Province.

“Mrs Niarti represents modern Kartini for her extraordinary achievements. No wonder she was chosen to be one of the great women receiving prestigious awards, which is allegedly an inspiration for the wider community,” said Nurhayati as, Head of Public Relations of LPI Dompet Dhuafa, Monday (29/5/2023).

“On behalf of LPI, we congratulate Niarti, the Assisted Teacher of SLI LPI Dompet Dhuafa in Indragiri Hulu Regency, who won the Meritorious and Outstanding Women Award in Riau Province,” she added.

Through a page on her Instagram social media, Niarti expressed her impression and gratitude for her teaching service in Rantau Langsat Village.

“It takes patience to educate them, but their smiles (children and the people of Rantau Langsat Village) bring happiness to us. Thank you so much to all the good people who have made me who I am. Without them, I would be nothing.”

LPI Dompet Dhuafa advises staying humble and learning because success inspires not only the current generation but also future generations.
