Once again, DDV is hosting Little Explorer 2023, Exploring the Culture of the Archipelago in South Sumatra

PALEMBANG, SOUTH SUMATRADompet Dhuafa Volunteer (DDV) in South Sumatra organized the event “Little Explorer 2023: Exploring the Culture of the Archipelago.” This joyful event was successfully held thanks to the support of Dompet Dhuafa donors. This time, “Little Explorer 2023: Exploring the Culture of the Archipelago” took place on Sunday, August 27, 2023, at Rumah Limas Palembang, located on Demang Lebar Daun Street.

A total of 18 orphaned children participated in this event. They received gifts such as bags, school uniforms, soccer shoes, and school supplies. The event also featured various exciting activities, including games, a tour of Rumah Limas Palembang with explanations from guides, a Q&A session about Rumah Limas Palembang, group photos, gift distribution, having lunch together, and many more.

Rizki Asmuni, the Branch Manager of Dompet Dhuafa South Sumatra, was also present at this event. In his address, Rizki expressed that the organization of this event is a manifestation of the spirit of sharing and caring for orphaned children.

“Thank you to all the donors who have made this event a success and brought joy to the orphaned children. We hope that this spirit of giving continues to inspire others,” he said.

Andini, a volunteer of Dompet Dhuafa Volunteer South Sumatra, mentioned, “I feel happy seeing these kids enjoy the event, especially during the gift-opening session, where one child was almost in tears because they were so happy to receive shoes. This event was a success, with all activities running smoothly.”
