JAKARTA —-— A warm and cheerful atmosphere filled the Atrium of One Belpark Mall in South Jakarta on Sunday (March 8, 2026). Dompet Dhuafa and One Belpark Mall took advantage of this Ramadan season to host an event providing aid to orphans, accompanied by various educational and entertainment activities.
Febby Lidya, a representative of One Belpark Mall’s management, stated that this event reflects the mall’s commitment to delivering social programs that have a positive impact on the community. This collaboration is part of an effort to strengthen social responsibility through synergy between the business sector and philanthropic organizations.
“Through these charitable and community-building activities, we aim to bring joy to orphaned children while fostering a spirit of giving during the month of Ramadan. We hope this collaboration with Dompet Dhuafa will continue and bring even greater benefits to the community,” said Febby.
Meanwhile, Dompet Dhuafa representative Erlita Sari expressed her appreciation for the mall’s support in organizing activities that benefit orphaned children.
“We deeply appreciate the collaboration with One Belpark Mall in bringing joy to orphaned children. Ramadan is a time to strengthen social solidarity, and through activities like this, we hope more people will be inspired to share,” said Erlita.
As part of the event series, a symbolic donation handover took place from One Belpark Mall to Dompet Dhuafa, marked by the presentation of a symbolic check and a group photo session with the beneficiary children.
The event also featured various interactive activities designed to provide a fun experience for the children. They participated in a number of traditional games from the PlayPlus community, such as spinning tops, congklak, snakes and ladders, hopscotch, and marbles. These games not only brought joy but also served as a means to reintroduce traditional games to the younger generation.
In addition to the games, the event was enlivened by various entertainment performances by the children of Sanggar Harmoni Indonesia, ranging from a fashion show and children’s drama to dance performances that invited the children and visitors to participate.
As the time for breaking the fast approached, the event continued with a religious talk and communal prayer, conveying a message about the importance of compassion, togetherness, and the values of sharing during the month of Ramadan. All participants then broke their fast together, followed by the distribution of food and the Maghrib prayer in congregation.
Through this activity, Dompet Dhuafa hopes that more acts of kindness can be fostered to expand benefits for those in need.
