Over a Decade of Dedication to Quranic Teaching, Dompet Dhuafa Honors Ustaz Ade

BOGOR, WEST JAVA — Ustaz Ade Maulana has devoted more than 14 years to teaching the Quran, viewing it as his contribution to the community. He regards teaching as a core part of his being, a means to share the knowledge he has acquired.

He serves as a Quranic teacher at the Istiqomatul Hanafiah Pabuaran Taklim Council in Cibinong, Bogor. His routine includes imparting Quranic teachings to a diverse group of students, ranging from teenagers to adults, with over 100 individuals benefiting from his instruction.

On Tuesday (9/1/2024), at the Baitul Faidzin Great Mosque in Cibinong, he was among those who received a grocery package from the ‘Gifts for Quranic Teachers, Mosque Imams, and Marbots’ assistance program. This program, led by Dompet Dhuafa’s Community Service Institution (LPM) in partnership with the Indonesian Mosque Council (DMI) of Bogor, aims to support those dedicated to religious teaching.

Ustaz Ade voiced his appreciation for the aid and motivated his fellow Quranic teachers to remain spirited.

“May this support bolster our resolve in serving God’s path and help us become the best of communities,” he expressed.

H. Tb. Irwan Kurniawan, S. Kom., MM., Chairman of DMI Bogor, praised the initiative, recognizing it as a valuable acknowledgment of the efforts of Quranic teachers, mosque imams, and marbots in community service.

Moh. Noor Awaluddin Asjhar, S,Sos., M.Kesos., Head of LPM Dompet Dhuafa, reiterated the organization’s commitment to appreciating social endeavors that support community champions.

“This collaboration between LPM Dompet Dhuafa and DMI across Jabodetabek celebrates the dedication of Quranic teachers, mosque imams, and marbots. With 270 benefit recipients receiving Grocery Package Gifts and financial assistance, and a Mosque Cleaning Assistance program spanning 15 locations, we aim to kickstart 2024 with a drive towards maximizing our collective goodwill,” he detailed.
