Pakistan Flood Survivors Gets Free Health Checks from Dompet Dhuafa and We Care Foundation

SINDH, PAKISTAN — Dompet Dhuafa’s Response Team, together with the We Care Foundation in Pakistan, held a Healthy Service Action (Aksi Layanan Sehat/ALS) on Thursday (13/10/2022). Located in Haji Amir Shah and Saleh Muhammad Dars Thatta, Sindh, as many as 100 flash flood survivors enthusiastically took part in the series of health checks.

 

“Of the 100 people, the majority of patients were children with complaints of bodies having spot marks and also itching. As the results of the previous assessment, Dompet Dhuafa and the We Care Foundation presents ALS for flood survivors who are affected by many skin diseases,” explained Narwan, The DmC (Disaster Management Center) Response Team of Dompet Dhuafa in Pakistan.

Previously, Dompet Dhuafa also distributed food staple packages (sembako) to Pakistani flash flood survivors in Sujawal District on Monday (10/10/2022). As many as 420 Pakistani flash flood survivors have received food package Aid. (Dompet Dhuafa / DMC / Dhika)
