PALESTINE — On Tuesday (05/09/2023) at 02.00 local time, there were again fierce airstrikes and heavy bombings by Israel in the Gaza Strip. Israel launched airstrikes. By dawn, the Israeli attack targeted the Palestinian Islamic Jihad in the Gaza Strip. The airstrike was the latest incident in more than a year of spikes in violence by the Israeli military.
Palestinian Islamist groups in the Gaza Strip have again been targeted. As of Friday (12/5/2023), the Palestinian Ministry of Health recorded the number of victims who continued to grow due to the incident. Since airstrikes began on Tuesday, there have been 30 dead, including 6 children and 3 women, and 93 wounded, including 32 children and 17 women.
Hazem Qasem, a spokesman for Hamas, one of the Palestinian Islamic movements, said the attack was carried out in a densely populated area.Kompas.com Israel targeted homes and residential buildings, destroying thousands of civilian utilities, farmland, and infrastructure units.
“The Zionist population committed major crimes at dawn by targeting safe houses and residential buildings. Making children, women and the elderly martyred, and they (Israel) are targeting the leaders of the resistance,” Hazem said.
In that attack, Israel led the attack on 3 leaders of Palestinian groups. The attack comes a week after Palestinian groups announced a ceasefire around Gaza. As a result of the incident, Israeli soldiers and Gaza militants exchanged fire across the border. This comes after 22 Palestinians were killed in the past two days.
One eyewitness said an explosion hit the top floor of an apartment building in Gaza City and a house south of Rafah. Knowing this, Dompet Dhuafa, a humanitarian organization, seeks to assist brothers and sisters who are victims of the conflict in the Gaza Strip, Palestine.
