JAKARTA —-— PT Perusahaan Perdagangan Indonesia (PPI) handed over Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds worth IDR 50 million to Dompet Dhuafa to be distributed in the form of the Water for Life Program on Thursday (12/18/2025), at Graha PPI, Central Jakarta.
The assistance was handed over directly by the Head of the Corporate Secretariat and Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) of PT PPI, Ira Berlianty Aziz. The assistance will be realized in the form of the construction of clean water wells located in the Pahawang Islands, Lampung Province. This program will target 80 beneficiary families in the area.

Muhammad Ikhsan, Manager of Public Relations, Institutional Affairs, Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) at PT PPI, believes that everyone has the right to clean water to meet their basic needs.
“With good clean water that is accessible to all communities, hopefully it can provide benefits,” he said.
Ikhsan hopes that this program can be implemented well and have a real impact on the community. He believes that through collaboration with Dompet Dhuafa, the program will be implemented more massively.
“If we work alone, we may be faster. But if we work together, the work will be more extensive and reach more beneficiaries,” said the PPI Public Relations Manager.
This year, Ikhsan explained that PT PPI has collaborated with Dompet Dhuafa twice. The first collaboration was to prepare clean water sanitation in the West Java region, and the construction of these bore wells is the second collaboration.
Dompet Dhuafa was chosen as the managing partner to distribute PPI’s CSR funds for a reason.
“During this short collaboration process, there was good, transparent, and active communication. This is what made us (PT PPI) decide to collaborate again with Dompet Dhuafa,” said Ikhsan.

CSR Partnership Dompet Dhuafa, Erlita Sari, explained that this program targets locations experiencing clean water crises. According to Erlita, Lampung was chosen because the water in the area has been contaminated with iron and brackish water, making it unfit for consumption.
“This initiative of kindness from PT PPI is a new hope for the community,” she said.
Erlita Sari appreciated the collaboration between Dompet Dhuafa and PT PPI over the past year.
“We hope this collaboration will continue and create a sustainable positive impact for the Indonesian people,” she concluded. (Dompet Dhuafa)
