BOGOR, WEST JAVA – The Etos ID Scholarship Program of Dompet Dhuafa has received renewed support for providing quality education. It is widely recognized that the opportunity to pursue higher education is a right of every Indonesian citizen. However, access to higher education still remains a significant challenge.
This issue is highlighted by the 2021 data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), which shows the Gross Enrollment Rate (GER) for Higher Education at 31.19%. This indicates that 6 out of 10 high school graduates do not have the opportunity to pursue higher education. Therefore, collaboration from various parties is essential to ensure that everyone can access education.
In line with this, a collaboration program between Etos ID and PTT Exploration and Production (PTTEP) was initiated to support quality education. On Tuesday (24/10/2023), PTTEP contributed funding support of Rp65,856,908 to the Etos ID Scholarship Program.

The donation ceremony by PTTEP, held at Teras Madina, Bogor, was attended by Grinchai Hattagam, General Manager of PTTEP Indonesia; Gayatri Syafri, Public Affairs of PTTEP; Mulyadi Saputra, Head of LPI DD; and Muhamad Saepudin, Head of Sekolah Pemimpin Indonesia.
Muhammad Saepudin explained that the funds would be allocated and optimized for Single Tuition Fee (UKT) expenses and accommodation support for the benefit recipients of the Etos ID Scholarship Program. On this occasion, Grinchai Hattagam expressed his thanks to Etos ID and shared his pleasure about visiting LPI DD and meeting directly with the Etos ID management.
