JAKARTA – Dompet Dhuafa raised awareness of humanitarian issues among visitors to Bangor Fest, which took place over two days from August 9 to 10, 2025. Bangor Fest is a culinary festival held by Burger Bangor to celebrate its sixth anniversary through Bangor Fest Vol. 3 at Aldiron Pancoran Field.
This annual burger culinary festival marks an important milestone in the brand’s journey. This year, the event featured performances by renowned artists, exhibitions, interactive competitions, and a charity program in collaboration with Dompet Dhuafa. During the event, Dompet Dhuafa set up a booth to facilitate visitors who wished to make donations or contributions.

On its first day, Saturday (August 9, 2025), the booth was filled with enthusiasm as visitors flocked to the Dompet Dhuafa booth, which offered exciting activities such as live doodling, door prizes, and interactive games, adding to the festive atmosphere of Indonesia’s largest burger festival.
Not only enjoying the activities, but some visitors also made donations and fulfilled their zakat obligations through Dompet Dhuafa. Muzazin was one of them; he was working at Bangor Fest and felt happy and assisted by the ease of donating through Dompet Dhuafa.

Muzazin is deeply concerned about humanitarian issues in Palestine. Seeing various posts on social media about the conditions there moved him to help the survivors. However, he often faces obstacles in distributing aid, mainly because he has not found many institutions or organizations that he believes are truly trustworthy.
“It’s been a huge help, making things so much easier. I’ve always wanted to help Palestine, but I saw so many foreign bank accounts on social media and was worried they might not be trustworthy. Fortunately, I had a need here and came across Dompet Dhuafa, which has been a great help. I’ve always wanted to support Palestine. May you stay strong; we in Indonesia are always praying for you,” Muzazin explained to Dompet Dhuafa.

Additionally, Fajar Maulana, as part of the Brand Activation Team at Dompet Dhuafa, stated that Dompet Dhuafa is also providing a comfortable and clean prayer room for visitors who wish to perform their five daily prayers, as part of their commitment to offering a comfortable spiritual space for the community during Bangor Fest.
“Today, Dompet Dhuafa is collaborating with Burger Bangor at Bangor Fest Vol 3. Dompet Dhuafa has set up a booth where visitors can enjoy unique experiences, such as live doodling, and make donations through the campaigns available on Dompet Dhuafa’s platform. Additionally, those wishing to pray can do so at the Dompet Dhuafa mosque,” explained Fajar.
One of the visitors, Gilang, said he felt calm because he could still perform his five daily prayers during the concert.
“Today I wanted to watch the concert, and for me the prayer room was comfortable. The prayer mats were provided, and there was a place to tidy up. The shoe mats were also provided, so those of us who pray felt more comfortable performing our prayers. This way, we could still fulfill our obligation to pray five times a day,” said Gilang.
With that, the presence of Dompet Dhuafa at Bangor Fest allowed visitors to not only enjoy the festivities but also have the opportunity to share kindness and worship comfortably. (Dompet Dhuafa)
