BEKASI, WEST JAVA —— The holy month of Ramadan 1443 AH has only been underway for a few days, but the enthusiasm of Muslims to compete in doing good and reap the benefits has already been evident. As seen at SMA Labschool Cibubur in Bekasi, West Java, on Wednesday (April 6, 2022), all students gathered early in the morning to participate in the SINAR (Intensive Ramadan Practice Study) program.
SINAR itself is a regular agenda every Ramadan held by SMA Labschool Cibubur to further increase the faith and piety of the students and not forget to spread kindness to others in various ways. This year, SMA Labschool Cibubur has once again entrusted its donations to be distributed through Dompet Dhuafa.

The donation itself was collected by the students of Labschool Cibubur High School from their pocket money. From this collection, the students managed to raise Rp 20,032,000, which was symbolically handed over to Yudha Andilla, Manager of Retail Fundraising at Dompet Dhuafa, who was present at the event.
“Of course, this can be a way for us to continue to improve and increase our good deeds after Ramadan, because Ramadan is a month for self-improvement. By sharing in this holy month, we will be training ourselves for the 11 months outside of Ramadan. This means that what Prof. Dr. Achmad Sofyan Hanif, M.Pd., and Dr. Ali Chudori, along with all the teachers, have instilled in the students of Labschool Cibubur High School today is actually a prayer and hope that in the future, the students of Labschool Cibubur High School will become successors of the nation who are far better than the previous generation. because my younger siblings at Labschool Cibubur High School are not only shaped into individuals who are intelligent in terms of knowledge, but are also trained in sensitivity and attentiveness by the teachers to become individuals with noble character, and of course this is a great source of reward for Prof. Hanif and Dr. Ali, the teachers and parents of the students,” said Yudha in his speech.
In addition, Yudha also explained that this is not the first time SMA Labschool Cibubur has collaborated with Dompet Dhuafa in a joint effort to help others, as there have been many projects carried out together by SMA Labschool Cibubur and Dompet Dhuafa as an international philanthropic institution. “I personally, and on behalf of the institution, am very grateful for the trust that SMA Labschool Cibubur has placed in us as a bridge of kindness. I hope that the students will be able to become an extension of kindness in society in the future,” concluded Yudha.

Prof. Dr. Ahmad Sofyan Hanif, M.Pd., Head of BPS Labschool YP-UNJ, during the donation handover, expressed his hope that the kindness shown by the students of Labschool Cibubur High School would be able to help and ease the burden of fellow Muslims wherever they may be. Accompanied by student representatives from each class, he expressed his pride in the donation made by his students.
“I would like to represent the generous students of Labschool Cibubur High School who have collected donations in the form of alms for other Muslims through Dompet Dhuafa. May the Ramadan alms bring blessings to all Muslims, especially my students at Labschool Cibubur High School. With this, we are handing over a total of Rp 20,032,000 to Dompet Dhuafa,” said Prof. Dr. Ahmad Sofyan Hanif during the handover ceremony.
Dompet Dhuafa, as a philanthropic institution, considers the trust given by SMA Labschool Cibubur to be one of the important assets of a philanthropic institution. Through various existing programs, Dompet Dhuafa is committed to distributing the donations from the students of SMA Labschool widely and appropriately in accordance with the mandate given. May this act of kindness serve as an inspiration for the wider community from various parties to also collaborate with Dompet Dhuafa, especially during this blessed month. (Dompet Dhuafa / Arlen)
