JAKARTA —-— Dompet Dhuafa always strives to involve many parties in the 30 Days of #BecomeBeneficial campaign, which is one of the driving forces behind the spirit of humanity during the holy month of Ramadan. Various programs have been launched to raise hope for our brothers and sisters in need across the country through acts of kindness.
One of the tangible manifestations of this movement is the #BerbagiMusik program, which collaborates with one of Indonesia’s renowned bands, Armada. This program aims to encourage the public to share in this blessed month so that our brothers and sisters in need, especially the poor and orphans affected by the Covid-19 pandemic, can feel the joy of Ramadan.
The collaboration between Dompet Dhuafa and Armada was marked by a press conference attended by Etika Setiawanti as Director of Resource Mobilization at Dompet Dhuafa, Ali Bastoni as Chair of Ramadan 1443 H, and two members of Armada, Andit and Rizal, with Dini Andromeda as the host. The event took place openly at the Dompet Dhuafa Philanthropy Building, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta, on Friday (April 9, 2022).

According to Etika Satiawanti, there will be several flagship programs in the collaboration between Dompet Dhuafa and Armada. These programs include Ramadan Parcels and food distribution to those in need using Dompet Dhuafa’s Mobile Kitchen (Darling) units.
“This collaboration is held as a form of mutual kindness and concern for others. It is hoped that this collaboration with Armada will result in a joint campaign for Ramadan parcels and food distribution using Dompet Dhuafa’s Mobile Kitchen (Darling),” said Etika Setiawanti.
On the same occasion, Ali Bastoni outlined the achievements of the Darling Program, which has carried out concrete actions at various locations across Indonesia in response to community needs, whether in disaster situations or other humanitarian aid efforts. This Ramadan, Darling and Armada will provide sahur and iftar meals for the wider community.

“We invite Armada to #BeBeneficial by sharing music. Our program has been running from Aceh to Papua. One of our flagship programs is Dapur Keliling (Mobile Kitchen), which will provide iftar and suhoor meals in areas in need in Greater Jakarta and its surrounding areas. We will also invite our friends at Armada to break the fast together and participate in sharing activities.”
In addition, Ali also added his hope that this collaboration will be able to attract the community to participate in various acts of kindness, especially in this blessed month. “This program can encourage public involvement in sharing during Ramadan,” added Ali.
Tsandi Rizal Adi Pradana, known to the public as Rizal Armada, expressed his interest in collaborating with Dompet Dhuafa through its various positive programs. This Palembang-born man even wants to get directly involved in preparing meals for the community on-site.

“Armada is partnering with Dompet Dhuafa because we see that Dompet Dhuafa is professionally skilled in doing good, with programs that are running in the community. What interests us is the food sharing program, which will be carried out together with mobile kitchens, from cooking on site to eating meals together with people in need,” said Rizal, Armada’s vocalist, on the sidelines of the event.
