JAKARTA — Again sharing the blessings of Ramadan, Tokopedia and Dompet Dhuafa distributed 500 iftar snacks and food packages for teachers and students of MI Hidayatul Islamiyah, East Pejaten, South Jakarta. This kindness movement was carried out on Monday (17/04/23) through an iftar event with teachers and students at school.
As the Principal of MI Hidayatul Islamiyah, Musa expressed his appreciation and gratitude to Tokopedia and Dompet Dhuafa.
“We are very accepting and enjoying what has given us iftar snacks this afternoon. Hopefully, we can continue to be persistent so that it can make them happy with the needy people or powerless people around them. Therefore, we, on behalf of the school, thank you very much,” he said.

The teachers organised food from iftar snacks to main meals after Maghrib prayers. The students also seemed enthusiastic about participating in iftar activities with Tokopedia and Dompet Dhuafa. One of them was conveyed by Yasmin, a student of MI Hidayatul Islamiyah.
“Alhamdulillah, I am happy I can break my fasting with teachers and friends,” explained Yasmin.
Furthermore, a good collaboration between Tokopedia and Dompet Dhuafa is established through donation services in the Tokopedia application. So, it will make it easier for application users to play a role in the goodness of #RamadanDariHati.

In addition, this collaboration is also a form of social concern from Tokopedia to the surrounding community. So that later they can get iftar snacks and food packages to break their fast this Ramadan.
“This is not the first time Dompet Dhuafa has received the mandate and established KolaborAksi with Tokopedia. This time through the Sahur and Iftar Sharing campaign programs. The donations of Tokopedia donors were distributed at the Iftar event with teachers and students. Not only this program, but the donations from Tokopedia users have also been successfully distributed to other programs, such as the Parcel for Dhuafa program, and Orphan Gifts in various other regions,” explained Hasairi Arnas as Digital Strategic Partnership of Dompet Dhuafa.
Also conveyed by the Principal of MI Hidayatul Islamiyah, hopes and prayers were expressed for the goodness done by Tokopedia with Dompet Dhuafa.
