SOUTH TANGERANG — If you hear the word hero, maybe what comes to mind is about the struggle against colonialism in this country. However, in this modern era, the word hero can be pinned to anyone who has a vision to spread benefits to the environment around him.
Heroes of independence and heroes of today without us realizing it continue the baton of struggle for the nation with their respective challenges. During their service to the nation, heroes often forget their personal interests and even their conditions are not better than other people.

The sincerity and spirit of struggle that continues to burn in the souls of heroes moves Dompet Dhuafa through the Community Service Institute (LPM) to give appreciation to freedom fighters and community fighters for their service so far.
“Community fighters are those who continue, freedom fighters are those who fight for the freedom of this nation from colonization. This activity is one part of Dompet Dhuafa’s efforts to appreciate those who sincerely help the community and this country,” explained M. Noor Awaluddin Asjhar as Head of LPM Dompet Dhuafa.

Located at Syahida Inn UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, South Tangerang, 26 freedom fighters from the Legion of Veterans of the Republic of Indonesia (LVRI) and 29 community fighters from various regions in Jabodetabek gathered, on Tuesday (8/11/2022).

For years we have followed the day of heroes, this is a small gift for warriors who this time are proof of Dompet Dhuafa’s love for them.
