JAKARTA — Dompet Dhuafa in its activities always invites all elements of society, both groups and individuals, to spread kindness as widely as possible. Active collaboration is Dompet Dhuafa’s surefire way to increase benefits for those in need.
As was the case on Friday (02/09/2022) yesterday. Dompet Dhuafa, through the JadiBaik.org digital platform, collaborated with the Community of Solid 3G Riders INDONESIA Central Jakarta to invite the public to donate to the Al-Quran Alms program.
This collaboration was marked by a symbolic inauguration at the base camp of the Solid 3G INDONESIA Jakarta Pusat Rider Community in Kebun Kacang, Tanah Abang District. Taking place in a simple manner, the members of the community, which consists of online motorcycle taxi drivers, were very enthusiastic about inviting the public to donate via barcodes on stickers and brochures.
“Dompet Dhuafa saw the spirit of kindness from the Solid 3D Riders INDONESIA Central Jakarta colleagues, and thank God we were able to collaborate to facilitate the collection of donations from colleagues through the SoBaik.org platform. Through the JadBaik.org platform, the hope is that the good in the Al-Quran Alms campaign can spread more widely in the community. In addition, hopefully with this movement of kindness, every verse memorized by the Al-Quran memorizers will become a charity that will continue to flow,” said Dimas Muttakhin as the Fundrising Team of the Resource Mobilization Community Dompet Dhuafa.
These drivers see opportunities in every passenger they transport every day. Therefore, they put donation barcode stickers on all their helmets and vehicles so that passengers can get information and donate while on the go.
In addition, they also invite customers from street vendors around their base camp location. They also ended up putting stickers on the carts of traders along Jalan Kebun Kacang, which is located right behind the famous Grand Indonesia shopping center. While resting and waiting for passengers, they enthusiastically invite people to donate through the available barcodes.
They are well aware that this act of kindness is an investment in the afterlife. Each copy of the Quran that will be donated to memorizers of the Quran will bring great rewards for those who donate. This was emphasized by Hamdani, Advisor and Supervisor of Komuntas Rider Solid 3G INDONESIA Central Jakarta. Hamdani even invited all online motorcycle taxi drivers in the area to donate together to make this program a reality.
“We have to understand that this activity is not actually an ordinary social activity. This activity can also be called an investment for the hereafter. Even though we are busy looking for sustenance every day, we must also not forget to have savings for rewards in the hereafter. Hopefully, with this act of kindness with Dompet Dhuafa through the SoBaik.org platform, we can all help memorize the Koran with donations of the Koran,” said Hamdani.
In line with what Hamdani said, Deri Ferdiansyah, one of the online motorcycle taxi drivers and Chairman of the Solid 3G INDONESIA Rider Community in Central Jakarta, hopes that other online motorcycle taxi driver colleagues will be able to spread this movement of kindness as widely as possible.
“I strongly urge all members and drivers in the Central Jakarta area to contribute to this program. We hope that with the collaboration with Dompet Dhuafa, the community will be more confident to donate because they see Dompet Dhuafa’s work in distributing the community’s mandate to those in need,” he invited.
Dompet Dhuafa wants to invite all people from various circles and backgrounds to be part of a movement of kindness.
