JAKARTA – The excitement of the month of Ramadan increased in the second week. This is in line with the “Symphony of Iftar” event as a Ramadan Festival held by Dompet Dhuafa together with PPJI (Indonesian Catering Service Association), and CIBIS Park which just opened on Wednesday (12/03/2025), in CIBIS Park, Cilandak, South Jakarta. The event will last for three days until March 14, 2025.
The festival comes with a myriad of activities, ranging from educational activities such as da’wah studies, talk shows, disaster mitigation simulations by the Dompet Dhuafa Disaster Management Center (DMC) and cooking demonstrations by Lotte Mart, to free physical and mental health screenings from the Dompet Dhuafa Free Health Service (LKC).
In addition, the opportunity to share kindness and at the same time drive the community’s economy was not missed with the Cheap Redemption Market every 4-6 pm during the festival. This market is intended for people in need. They will receive a free basic food voucher worth IDR 150,000 which can be redeemed for a cheap price of IDR 20,000.

Symbolically, the opening of the Symphony of Iftar event was marked by a ribbon cutting by the Chairman of the Symphony of Ifthar Committee, Peeta Marisa; Deputy Chairman of the Dompet Dhuafa Management, Herdiansyah; Chairman of Ramadan 1446 Dompet Dhuafa, Andriansyah; Chairman of DPD PPJI DKI Jakarta, Siti Djumiadini; President Director of CIBIS Park, Ahmad Umar; and the Assistant for Economics and Development of the Mayor of South Jakarta, Sayid Ali.
In his remarks, Herdiansyah said that this event was a momentum for Dompet Dhuafa and also for the whole community in voicing kindness. The goodness of Ramadan is certainly not only in terms of worship, but in all aspects that have benefits for others. Including in it are culture and art. Especially in terms of music, through this event, Dompet Dhuafa wants to expand the voice of goodness in harmony with the sounds of music.
“Goodness can come from anywhere, including through invitations through songs and music. Hopefully we can all benefit from this Symphony of Iftar event, and spread the benefits as widely as possible to others,” he said.
To add to the enthusiasm among children, Symphony of Iftar also held an Azan and Da’i Cilik competition. On the right side of the main stage, Dompet Dhuafa presented the Ngetem Podcast. There, visitors could chat with Dompet Dhuafa about kindness and humanity.

After enjoying various activities at Symphony of Iftar, while waiting for the time to break the fast, you can visit the MSME Bazaar to hunt for takjil and iftar menus. Don’t worry, there will be various tenants coloring this MSME Bazaar. Starting from culinary, fashion to multiproducts. Later at the end of this event, the proceeds from the bazaar will be donated through Dompet Dhuafa to help orphans stay in school. As with the theme of collaboration between Dompet Dhuafa and Dul Jaelani, namely “Help Orphans Stay in School”.
Filled with benefits, Symphony of Iftar is also ready to entertain Cibis Park visitors. Starting from standup comedy by Gilang Dayaganggu and Nyonyo Erma, acoustic performances to special performances by Dul Jaelani.
Through a series of festival agendas, Dompet Dhuafa also voices education for orphans through “Honor the Orphans” with Dul Jaelani.
