SOUTH TANGERANG — “Alhamdulillah, it was beneficial for those at home with this Parsel Ramadan from Dompet Dhuafa,” said Iman Firmansyah to the Dompet Dhuafa Team happily.
The scorching heat of Ciputat on Monday (03/04/23) afternoon did not hinder the enthusiasm of public transportation drivers to work. The sweat of sweat bears witness to the struggle of a family head to make a living to support their family.
One of the beneficiaries of the Ramadan Dompet Dhuafa parcel this time is Iman Firmansyah (33), a father of two young children still in school.
“I (started) to be a public transportation driver around 2006/2007. I used to be in and out of work, but now I have settled down as a public transportation driver,” said Iman.

During the distribution of Ramadan Parcels, Iman also selflessly helped the Dompet Dhuafa Team even though the sun was scorching. He even kindly arranged the distribution of Ramadan Parcels so that the trust of donors entrusted through Dompet Dhuafa could be conveyed well to his friends.
“To make it more equitable in its distribution, and they can get all,” said Iman.
In between distributing the parcels, Iman also talked about his work and income.
“Every day I am on public transportation, it is around one or two o’clock in the afternoon until it is finished. Well, usually around nine o’clock in the evening, “explained Iman.

Aditya Wahyu, Volunteer from LPM Dompet Dhuafa, said that this year’s Ramadan parcel targets public transportation drivers at various points, including Ciputat. According to him, the profession of public transportation driver is a job that requires more attention, considering the model of transportation modes that are now starting to change.
As a result, their income is lowered. Especially for family support.
“This Ramadan parcel hopefully can ease their burden,” said Adit.

Through this program, Adit hopes that public transportation drivers can be helped as well as remind all of us that in this sophisticated era, there are jobs for public transportation drivers that are now starting to be abandoned. Behind the profession, there are father figures who fight for their families.
With a smile and full of gratitude that day, Iman expressed his gratitude to the Dompet Dhuafa Team.
