DELI SERDANG, NORTH SUMATRA —-— Bintang Rabbani School, located in Rumah Sumbul Village, STM Hulu District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra, held a graduation ceremony for Raudhatul Athfal (RA), Madrasah Ibtida’iyah (MI), Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs), and Madrasah Aliyah (MA) Class 16.
At this graduation ceremony, Bintang Rabbani School, often referred to as STAR, sent off 102 students with the theme “Instilling Character and Love for the Quran in STM Hulu” on Thursday (5/19/2022). The theme was chosen for a reason. Amal Lubis, S.Pdi, Director of Bintang Rabbani School, stated that after graduation, the students would become individuals of character and achievement.
“To raise our children to be people of character, pious and virtuous. Of course, we also hope that this region will produce children who can be proud of, who are accomplished and who are useful to the nation in general and to STM Hulu in particular,” she said.
Representing the leadership of Dompet Dhuafa Waspada, Halimah Tusa’dyah, Program Manager, congratulated all the graduates and wished them success.
Halimah also advised parents to continue to accompany their children in their studies at home. “Congratulations and success to the children who will graduate today from RA-MA level. I pray that the knowledge they have gained will be blessed, that they will remember their teachers’ advice, and that they will apply their knowledge.
This is not without the parents’ efforts as well. Parents should monitor their children, so it cannot be entirely left to the teachers. Parents must also contribute by accompanying their children,” said Halimah.
One of the guardians of the graduates expressed his gratitude for the performance of the educators and the facilities that had been provided, which, although not yet perfect, were sufficient to equip the male and female students. “I am very grateful to the teachers who have educated our children. Without the extraordinary teachers here, today’s graduation ceremony would not have been possible,” said Usman.
