JAKARTA – The Holy Month of Ramadan is always a special moment to strengthen togetherness and share happiness with others. This was reflected in the “REMEMBER 2025: Ramadan Full of Blessings” event initiated by Dompet Dhuafa through Dompet Dhuafa Volunteer (DDV), in collaboration with the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, the Indonesian Catering Association (PPJI) DKI Jakarta, TMII, and Rumah Lebah. The event took place on Sunday (16/03/2025), at the Sasana Kriya Building, Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), East Jakarta.
A total of 1,500 orphans, poor children, and Al-Qur’an memorizers participated in this annual event. They were accompanied by 300 older volunteers who played an active role in enlivening the atmosphere.
The REMEMBER 2025 series of activities began with the Indonesian Children’s Talent Show, which featured various performances by orphans, the poor, and young memorizers of the Quran. A variety of creative performances were also shown, ranging from musical dramas, volunteer flash mobs, traditional dances, Quran memorization relays, hadroh, to poetry readings.

In addition, the younger siblings were also entertained by performances from special guests, such as Pitu Band, Kak Tony (National Storyteller), Calvin (Hafiz Indonesia 2024), and a speech by Ustaz Bobby before breaking the fast.

he Chairperson of Dompet Dhuafa, Ahmad Juwaini, in his remarks, expressed his gratitude for the collaboration in the REMEMBER 2025 event. He also expressed his appreciation to all collaborators who supported and made this annual activity a success.
“We are grateful to be involved in supporting PPJI activities for the third time. Every year, the number of orphans and the poor that we help is increasing, and now it also involves memorizers of the Qur’an,” he said.
He also emphasized that Dompet Dhuafa has various similar programs, including in the 1446 H Ramadan program, which includes various initiatives such as SEKAR, Grebek Kampung, Parsel Ramadan, to Posko Mudik, to provide wider benefits for people in need.
Meanwhile, the Chair of PPJI DKI Jakarta, Siti Djumiadini, emphasized that the REMEMBER event is an annual program that continues to grow. She is very happy to be able to continue to be involved in the act of sharing happiness with many orphans and the poor. This is also a forum for donors to channel their attention and love.
“In this third year, we invited 1,500 orphans, along with 300 chaperones and volunteers. We hope that the number of participants will continue to grow every year with sincere goals,” he hoped.

That’s right, from year to year, the number of beneficiaries in REMEMBER activities continues to grow. Fety Sulistiyandari, representing the older siblings of Dompet Dhuafa Volunteer, revealed that in 2023 this event was attended by 777 participants, increasing to 1,000 in 2024, and in 2025 reaching 1, 500 children from orphans, poor families, and Al-Qur’an memorizers.
“We hope that this year many good stories can be obtained by the children, not only from the donations, but also the benefits and knowledge from the concepts and education here,” he added.
The REMEMBER 2025 series of activities closed with a breaking of the fast together and a special performance by Pitu Band, which accompanied the children’s return with great joy. Not only that, 1,500 orphans, the poor, and memorizers of the Qur’an received donations and gifts from collaborating partners as a form of care and support.
REMEMBER 2025 is an act of togetherness and caring that can bring happiness to others. With the increasing number of beneficiaries every year, the spirit of sharing promoted by Dompet Dhuafa, PPJI, and the volunteers is expected to continue, bringing more blessings in the holy month of Ramadan. Hopefully, this activity will not only be an opportunity to share, but also inspire more people to spread kindness without limits.
