Through Dompet Dhuafa, PT Adev’s Zakat Blessings Return to Its Employees via a Home Renovation Program

BOGOR —-— PT Adev Natural Indonesia’s care for its employees doesn’t stop at the factory gates. Through a zakat program managed in partnership with Dompet Dhuafa, the company is providing more than just wages—it’s ensuring more decent housing for its employees. On Saturday (May 23, 2026), the joint team directly inspected the renovation process of the homes that will stand stronger thanks to the company’s zakat from PT Adev Natural Indonesia.

This program has brought significant benefits to Syahru Romadhon, an employee working as a General Affairs Operator at PT Adev Natural Indonesia. The house where he lives with his parents and older sibling in Kampung Bojong Lebak, Bojong Village, Kemang Subdistrict, Bogor Regency, is currently being repaired to provide a more comfortable living environment. Before receiving this home renovation assistance, Syahru admitted he often felt anxious, especially when it rained, due to the concerning condition of his home’s roof.

“Most of the renovation work is focused on the roof, as there were many leaks. So, the focus is on the roof. There are also improvements in the bathroom, where the door was replaced and the bathroom itself was repaired,” Syahru explained when describing the condition of his home before the renovation began.

When he first heard the news that his house had been selected for renovation, Syahru admitted he was both surprised and deeply moved. Now, the renovation work has been underway for eight working days with significant progress.

“Alhamdulillah, my first reaction was definitely a mix of surprise and emotion. I’m so grateful that PT Adev, in collaboration with Dompet Dhuafa, has been able to help repair my home like this. Thank you. The progress is roughly around 60 percent. Hopefully, it will be completed before the set deadline,” he said hopefully.

PT Adev’s decision to target internal employees as the primary beneficiaries of zakat funds is not without reason. Risma Melati, Assistant Manager of HRD and Legal Affairs at PT Adev Natural Indonesia, explained that this is a tangible expression of social responsibility aimed at improving the well-being of the company’s immediate community, while maintaining accountability through official zakat administrators.

“Why (choose Dompet Dhuafa)? So that the program can indeed be distributed transparently and also provide tangible benefits to the people or employees who receive it,” explained Risma while directly monitoring the renovation process.

This strategic partnership between PT Adev and Dompet Dhuafa has apparently been closely established since 2024 and continues through 2026, due to the numerous humanitarian programs being implemented. Risma hopes this physical assistance brings not only comfort but also broader blessings.

“The hope is, first and foremost, for the employees—that they can utilize it, experience the well-being and benefits we’ve verified. So it’s not just felt physically; hopefully, by Adev providing zakat funds to employees, it brings its own blessings to PT Adev Natural Indonesia,” added Risma.

The distribution of PT Adev Natural Indonesia’s corporate zakat for the 2025 fiscal year is closely monitored by Dompet Dhuafa through on-site monitoring and evaluation activities to ensure the assistance reaches those classified as asnaf (zakat recipients).

Pradila Maulia from Dompet Dhuafa’s Partnership Team explained that this home renovation program is just one of many charitable initiatives they have carried out in collaboration with PT Adev.

“Previously, we distributed assistance to Adev employees who fall under the category of asnaf, including educational aid, healthcare assistance, and support for daily necessities. We have also distributed food packages to the local community around the Adev area,” Pradila elaborated.

Dompet Dhuafa also expressed deep appreciation for the consistency and trust shown by PT Adev over the past three years.
