JAKARTA —–— Audy Dental Clinic handed over humanitarian aid for Sumatra via Dompet Dhuafa worth Rp200 million on Tuesday (12/23/2025) in South Jakarta. This aid will be distributed through various programs to support the accelerated recovery of survivors in the three provinces affected by the disaster.
Since the disaster struck Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra on November 26, various efforts have been made to provide moral and material support to survivors. Most recently, Dompet Dhuafa dispatched 11 trucks carrying 75 tons of basic necessities to Sumatra.
In the initial stage, the aid distributed focused on the urgent needs of survivors. The humanitarian aid consisted of rice, water towers, ready-to-eat rendang, mineral water, women’s kits, hygiene kits, children’s kits, bedding (blankets, mattresses, sleeping mats), Muslim kits, dates, honey, and snacks for children at refugee posts, as well as evacuation and recovery equipment.

However, assistance to meet basic needs alone is not enough. There is still much work to be done to help survivors through the recovery phase. At this stage, the challenges faced are different. Residents need sustainable health services, education for children, and economic support so they can return to work.
For this reason, the support in the form of donations provided by Audy Dental Clinic is quite significant. This assistance allows humanitarian agencies to adapt to the ever-changing needs in the field.
During the symbolic handover of the donation, Dompet Dhuafa was represented by the General Manager of Resources Mobilization, Ahmad Faqih Syarafaddin; the Marketing Partnership Team, Diana Rahma and Muhammad Kamil Zaidan. Meanwhile, Audy Dental Clinic was represented by its CEO, Yulita Bong, accompanied by her team.
“We hope that the assistance we provide will be a blessing and help our friends who have been affected,” said Audy Dental Clinic CEO Yulita Bong.

The partnership between Audy Dental Clinic and Dompet Dhuafa had been established long before the disaster in Sumatra occurred. That is why Audy Dental Clinic had no hesitation in entrusting Dompet Dhuafa with the task of distributing aid to the survivors.
“Dompet Dhuafa is a trusted institution, and we have carried out many programs that have been very beneficial to the community with Dompet Dhuafa,” said Yulita Bong.
The CEO of Audy Dental Clinic fully supports the humanitarian work carried out by Dompet Dhuafa.
“May the Dompet Dhuafa team continue to work in the field, give their best, stay healthy, and remain trustworthy,” she hoped.

During the symbolic handover, Ahmad Faqih Syarafaddin expressed his deep appreciation to Audy Dental Clinic. According to him, this is a form of real concern for survivors affected by flash floods and landslides in Sumatra.
“Alhamdulillah, the meeting and discussion earlier resulted in many programs that will soon be rolled out in the Sumatra region. Hopefully, this collaboration with Audy Dental Clinic will continue,” he concluded.
The flood disaster has left deep wounds for thousands of families in Sumatra. However, a little bit of care from you can be a beacon of hope for them to get back on their feet.
