BANDUNG, WEST JAVA — Every kindness given to orphans will flow multiple blessings and kindness for those who give. Islam itself greatly glorifies orphans and raises orphans as one of the groups that need special attention.
This time, kindness came from the collaboration of Dompet Dhuafa with Bursa Sajadah, this collaboration is a Ramadan 1444 H campaign entitled “Sharing 1000 Gifts for Orphans and Underprivileged Quran Memorizers.”
This act of kindness took place from March 1 to April 30, 2023. Bursa Sajadah customers gave their best donations, through the Dompet Dhuafa landing page and through QRIS scans at 12 Bursa Sajadah Stores spread throughout Indonesia.

On Thursday (20/7/2023), Dompet Dhuafa West Java had the opportunity to distribute Gifts for Orphans and Underprivileged Quran Memorizers to 35 children at Pondok Pesantren Fatih Al-Ayyubi, on Jl. Buni Sari No. 87, Cimenyan, Bandung Regency. Fatih Al Ayyubi itself is a nature boarding school that focuses on education, self-development, and nurturing of the orphans and underprivileged students.
The gifts given contain quality products of Bursa Sajadah, such as prayer rugs, dates, chocolate, etc. Derry Dharmawan as Digital Marketing Manager of Dompet Dhuafa West Java revealed that this act of kindness is a form of concern for orphans. According to him, orphans who get support and opportunities are often become inspiration to others and provide motivation to do more good in life.
“The motivation for holding the gift campaign for orphans and underprivileged is to provide support, happiness, help others, and give attention to orphans and underprivileged as well as spread the spirit of kindness and inspire more people to care and participate in various social activities.”
“With this activity and collaboration, we hope to create positive changes in their lives, give small smiles, and inspire more parties to get involved in social activities, and bring happiness as well as opportunities to children who need support. Hopefully this spirit of kindness will continue to bring benefits to all benefit recipients and the community at large,” said Derry.
In line with this, Diana Rahma as Partnership Officer of Dompet Dhuafa appreciated this collaboration of kindness. According to her, all parties can contribute to spreading kindness as well as helping orphans to achieve their potential and happiness in their lives.
