BOGOR, WEST JAVA — The Youth Expression Festival 2025 was officially held on Tuesday and Wednesday (October 28-29, 2025) at Pondok Kapilih, Caringin, Bogor Regency. The festival, organized by Dompet Dhuafa through the Community Service Institution (LPM), was attended by 110 orphaned participants from 11 LPM partner foundations.
Held in conjunction with the Youth Pledge Commemoration, this event served as a momentum for the orphans to showcase their talents and creativity through performances and works, in the spirit of positive youth.
“By showcasing their talents and creativity in the Youth Expression Festival, it is hoped that these orphans will become young people who will carry on the spirit of the Youth Pledge, future leaders with character, morals, and civility,” said Ahmad Shonhaji, Director of Social, Humanitarian, and Da’wah Programs at Dompet Dhuafa, in his speech.

Meanwhile, the Bogor Regency Social Service Agency, represented by the Head of the Social Restoration Team, Deri Anita, expressed its appreciation to Dompet Dhuafa for organizing this event because of its inspiring activities.
“We express our appreciation to LPM Dompet Dhuafa for initiating such an inspiring activity for the third time. Through this activity, we can help shape the character and strengthen the mental fortitude of orphans as the future generation of the nation,” he said.
The festival consisted of four competitions, including Yatim Got Talent (Talent Show) which was held on the first day. Then there was the “Me and My Dreams” Painting Competition, Ranking One Quiz, and storytelling, which were held on the second day.
“This event was so much fun! And I also got to make new friends from other foundations, and they were so supportive. They also inspired me after I saw them perform, and now I want to keep creating so I can be as cool as the other friends who participated in the competition today,” said Safa Fitria Oktaviani, a participant in the 2025 Youth Expression Festival.

In addition, the Youth Expression Festival 2025 also held a gift exchange activity, so that participants could build friendships and inspire each other to continue to be enthusiastic in achieving a bright future through creativity. (Dompet Dhuafa)
