JAKARTA —-— Goodwill movements can arise anywhere and in any form. Age, youth, size, and scale are not limitations to the emergence of goodwill, which benefits many people. Even now, goodwill movements are popular among millennials. University students are no exception.
As demonstrated by the Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Psychology Faculty at Tarumanagara University (UNTAR). They are spreading benefits through the #ZeroHunger Psyheroes 2022 initiative. The BEM of the Psychology Faculty at UNTAR is not alone in carrying out this act of kindness; Dompet Dhuafa has been chosen as a partner. Together, they are collaborating to distribute donations to those in need.

The donations distributed consisted of hundreds of food packages collected by the Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Psychology at UNTAR. In fact, hundreds of ready-to-eat food packages given to the community were prepared by MSME actors around the distribution location. The location chosen as the distribution point was a densely populated area in Grogol Petamburan Subdistrict, West Jakarta, on Sunday (February 27, 2022).
During the distribution, the enthusiasm of the community and students from outside Jakarta began to fill the location. This was greatly appreciated by the community during the recovery period, following the pandemic that struck several years ago. Slowly, the community, especially the lower-middle class, is rebuilding the economy little by little.

The UNTAR Faculty of Psychology Student Executive Board (BEM) is trying to prove their concern for people in need, especially in difficult times like now. In addition to being a forum for students to develop during their studies, the UNTAR Faculty of Psychology BEM wants to spread the spirit of kindness to all other students and the wider community.
“I hope that the #ZeroHunger activity in the Psyheroes 2022 work program carried out by the UNTAR Faculty of Psychology Student Executive Board and Dompet Dhuafa can be the beginning and a sincere expression of our intention to encourage the wider community to do good, especially by sharing with our brothers and sisters who are more in need. Because I believe that the best of humanity are those who are beneficial to those around them,” said Robby Gustiawan, Chairman of the UNTAR Faculty of Psychology Student Executive Board.

Dompet Dhuafa greatly appreciates the kindness shown by the students who are members of the UNTAR Faculty of Psychology Student Executive Board. Not only are they organizers, but they have also demonstrated their concern for others through the #ZeroHunger Psyheroes 2022 activity. As a philanthropic organization, Dompet Dhuafa sincerely hopes that the efforts of the Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Psychology at UNTAR will inspire others to engage in acts of kindness that benefit those in need.
