SOUTH TANGERANG – The excitement of Ramadan 1446 H by Dompet Dhuafa continues to be intensified. As the tagline goes, “Giving Zakat is so Cool There’s No Medicine for It!” Dompet Dhuafa is packing this Ramadan with a variety of cool and inspiring activities, one of which is the 2025 Ramadan Kampoeng Festival, which is being held through the Umar Usman Business Campus.
The Festival Kampoeng Ramadan 2025, which was held for two days starting on Saturday (15/03/2025), was a form of activity to strengthen the business and spiritual ecosystem of the community. This activity was designed to be a platform for collaboration between business actors, communities, and the community, as well as a means of education, entertainment, and spirituality.
With the theme “Weaving Blessings, Strengthening Togetherness”, the 2025 Ramadan Kampoeng Festival presents a series of inspiring activities. It is packaged by combining traditional and modern elements that educate to create a sustainable positive impact on society.


Lily Zulaikha, as the Director of the Umar Usman Business Campus, said that the presence of Kampoeng Ramadan is to provide reinforcement, especially for business people and MSME activists in South Tangerang.
“The Ramadan Kampoeng Festival is an activity where we want to provide support to MSME activists in the South Tangerang area. So there are classes to increase the capacity of MSME activists, but we also provide assistance to the community, namely orphans and the poor. In accordance with what we want to give, with the presence of Dompet Dhuafa here through the Khadijah Learning Center and Umar Usman, we want to provide the widest possible benefits, especially for residents around South Tangerang,” added Lily.

In line with this, Herdiansyah, as Vice Chairman of the Management of the Dompet Dhuafa Republika Foundation, revealed that Dompet Dhuafa, through the Umar Usman Business Campus, has high hopes that Indonesia will have good, great and beneficial entrepreneurs for the community.
“We hope that this campus will produce trustworthy and entrepreneurial entrepreneurs who help strengthen the community. So they not only grow big for themselves, but also contribute to the surrounding community. With the Ramadan Kampoeng Festival, the hope is that everyone can be empowered, especially those who are still lacking,” said Herdiansyah.
On the first day of the Ramadan Kampoeng Festival, various interesting and useful activities were carried out. Among other things, children’s coloring competitions, classes aimed at increasing the capacity of MSMEs, such as product photo classes and business logo design classes.



During the festival, there is an MSME bazaar with various tenants, ranging from culinary, fashion, face and skin care, to multiproducts. Besides the bazaar, there are also booths that provide services, such as health checks from the Free Health Service (LKC), Aku Temanmu Counseling Service, Banten Branch of Dompet Dhuafa, Eye Examination Service by Achmad Wardi Hospital, Cheap Shaving Service and Reflexology Massage Service from the Institute of Independence, as well as Halal + NIB Certification Service.
The Umar Usman Business Campus through Dompet Dhuafa continues to strive to strengthen its foothold with various activities carried out to strengthen the capacity of business activists. The activities are even more interesting with sharing sessions and interactive classes with Chiki Fawzi who shares about the benefits of waqf as a long-term social investment.
“So it’s like waqf is an act of worship that can even continue to bring us rewards, even when we have left this world,” said Chiki Fawzi.

In addition to the sharing session with Chiki Fawzi, there was also a sharing session with the entrepreneur and Founder of the Umar Usman Business Campus, Ippho Santosa. In his explanation, Ippho explained how to start a business.
Umar Usman Business Campus is an informal educational institution that focuses on shaping entrepreneurial character, the output of which is to produce entrepreneurs with character through a one-year educational program. Umar Usman Business Campus has produced successful entrepreneurs, some of whom also provide tips and tricks on starting a business.
“Praise be to God, the product photography class was really interesting! Because we could share together and learn from experienced mentors. From lighting, shooting, positioning, and there are tricks. This is really helpful, especially for MSMEs like me,” said Aris.

Rianti, a single parent who accompanied her child to get financial assistance, groceries, and iftar packages, also felt the same.
“I brought my son. Alhamdulillah, I’m very happy to be here. Thank you for inviting my son here. Since my husband passed away, I have been a single parent and I sell herbal medicine to feed my four children,” said Ranti.
The 2025 Ramadan Kampoeng Festival is not just a learning event, but also a moment for sharing inspiration between business communities.
