JAKARTA — To the accompaniment of the takbir echo, on the first day of Shawwal 1446 AH, which fell on Monday, March 31, 2025, Dompet Dhuafa announced the collection of zakat, infaq, sedekah, and waqf funds managed during Ramadan 1446 AH. Dompet Dhuafa’s collection this Ramadan recorded a growth of 14.8% compared to the previous year’s Ramadan.
As a national zakat institution, Dompet Dhuafa serves the Indonesian community, both those who will distribute zakat, infaq, sedekah and waqf, as well as those who need assistance and support programs to empower them. Dompet Dhuafa always strives to be as professional as possible in managing every fund entrusted to it by donors in Ramadan 1446 H.
The Chairman of the Management Board of the Dompet Dhuafa Republika Foundation (YDDR), Ahmad Juwaini, revealed that the record is proof of the good work that has been done so far and brings a positive trend for the collection of Dompet Dhuafa in 2025. At the same time, it is proof that the generosity of the Indonesian people is still high and continues to increase.

In addition, the record proves an increase in the number of donors collaborating with Dompet Dhuafa. According to the records, millennials still dominate the donor data of Dompet Dhuafa. In addition, the awareness of each individual and community to play an active role in solving social, economic, health, and education issues, disaster response, as well as da’wah and culture, is also growing.
“Alhamdulillah, this is positive proof of the generosity of the Indonesian people. This 14.8% increase in fundraising is not only an achievement for Dompet Dhuafa. However, this is clear evidence of the participation of all Indonesians who are aware and growing to fulfill their zakat, infaq, sedekah, and waqf through institutions. “Let’s continue to expand the collaboration of kindness through zakat, infaq, sedekah, and waqf for programs that empower others,” said Ahmad Juwaini, in a press release, Monday (31/3/2025).
This positive growth facilitated the rolling out of various programs from the five pillars of the Dompet Dhuafa program—education, health, economy, social humanitarianism, da’wah, and culture—during Ramadan. Dompet Dhuafa presented various program derivatives from the five pillars of the program. Starting from “Giving Glory to Orphans”, “Village Raids”, “Distributing Zakat Fitrah”, “Ramadan Parcel”, “Awareness of Cemetery Cleanliness During Ramadan (SEKAR)”, “Ramadan in Palestine”, various donations, “Happy Homecoming Post” to “Free Homecoming” Dompet Dhuafa presents.
