JAKARTA – Dompet Dhuafa has run various programs for Ramadan 1446 H. Since two months before Ramadan, hundreds of programs and thousands of activities that have been designed have been realized. These programs include socialization, fundraising for Zakat, Infak, Sedekah, and Wakaf (Ziswaf), as well as distributing aid to various sectors spread across all provinces in Indonesia and 14 other countries.
The program for Ramadan 1446 H covers Dompet Dhuafa’s five main pillars, namely education, health, economy, social/humanitarian, and da’wah/culture. At the Tarhib Ramadan 1446 H event held at Taman Lapangan Softball, GBK, Senayan, Central Jakarta, Saturday (8/2/2025), the head of Ramadan 1446 H Dompet Dhuafa, Andriansyah, explained a number of featured programs, including SEKAR (Grave Area Hygiene Awareness), Cross-Border Da’wah Program, Ramadan in Palestine, Glorify Orphans, Symphony of Iftar, Market Blessings, and Family-Friendly Homecoming Post.

Ramadan Program Dompet Dhuafa
SEKAR
Starting the month of Ramadan, Dompet Dhuafa, through the Community Service Institute (LPM), is implementing the SEKAR or Cemetery Area Cleanliness Awareness program in 20 cemetery locations. This program is inspired by the “Nyekar” tradition, which is a pilgrimage to the parents’ grave as a form of respect and a reminder of death.
Cross-Border Da’wah
As part of the global spread of Islam, Dompet Dhuafa has also sent out 300 preachers to serve in 11 countries as well as the 3T (Tertinggal, Terdepan, dan Terluar) regions in Indonesia. The eleven countries in question are Australia, the Philippines, Hong Kong, Japan, Greece, South Korea, France, Noumea, New Zealand, Thailand, and Timor Leste. In addition, at the same time, the Dompet Dhuafa Humanitarian Team for Palestine also departed on Thursday (27/02/2025) at the Dompet Dhuafa Cultural Center, South Jakarta. The Cross-Border Da’wah Program aims to improve Islamic literacy and strengthen da’wah in various regions that still have minimal access to Islamic education.

- 132 Dai Dai Center for Learning to Recite the Qur’an (PBM)
- 30 Dai in offices


Ramadan in Palestine
Meanwhile, in Palestine, the Dompet Dhuafa humanitarian team runs various programs in refugee camps in Egypt and Jordan, as well as in Palestine with the help of local partners. Activities carried out include breaking the fast and breaking the fast with Palestinians, distributing Ramadan parcels, building temporary mosques, and providing clean water. In this program, Dompet Dhuafa strives to become a civil diplomacy and Islamic diplomacy movement to help our brothers and sisters in Palestine.
Honor the Orphans
In an effort to honor orphans, Dompet Dhuafa holds various activities involving orphans, such as shopping together in shopping centers, playing together, giving donations and parcels, as well as breaking the fast and breaking the fast together. This program has successfully involved collaborations with various parties, including Dul Jaelani, Marc Klok, BTS ARMY, BXChange, One Belpark, and others.

Symphony of Iftar
Still in the spirit of sharing happiness in the month of Ramadan, Dompet Dhuafa collaborated with young musician Dul Jaelani in the “Honor the Orphan” campaign and the “Symphony of Iftar” Festival. This afternoon festival during iftar took place on March 12-14, 2025, at CIBIS Park, South Jakarta, featuring the Sound of Humanity (SOH) activity by Dul Jaelani. In addition, the series of activities in this festival includes various activities such as da’wah studies, talk shows, disaster mitigation simulations by the Dompet Dhuafa Disaster Management Center (DMC), cooking demonstrations by Lotte Mart, and free physical and mental health screenings by the Dompet Dhuafa Free Health Service (LKC).
In addition, Dompet Dhuafa and Dul Jaelani in the “Honoring Orphans” program campaign also held a “Sharing Music” event, a virtual concert program broadcast on DDTV YouTube. This event took place three times, on March 15, 2025, March 22, 2025, and culminated on Eid al-Fitr Eve, Sunday (03/30/2025).

Blessing Market
Through its economic empowerment program, Dompet Dhuafa also presents the Cheap Redemption Market as part of the Blessing Market. This program took place on March 13-14, 2025, and distributed 100 food packages every day to people in need. Each food package contains rice, instant noodles, flour, oil, sugar, and other complementary spices with a total value of IDR 130,000, redeemed for only IDR 20,000. This initiative aims to help people get basic necessities at more affordable prices during Ramadan.
Family-Friendly Homecoming Post
To help smooth the flow of homecoming for Eid 2025, Dompet Dhuafa is setting up Family-Friendly Homecoming Posts at two strategic points, namely at Taman Cirebon Power, Cirebon Regency, and at Kampung Rambutan Terminal, East Jakarta. These homecoming posts have been operating for five days, from March 25 to 29, 2025, with various free services for travelers. Facilities provided include therapeutic massages, rest tents, haircuts, children’s playgrounds, lactation corners, motorbike services, medical services, as well as iftar and suhoor meals. With these facilities, it is hoped that travelers can rest comfortably so that their journey remains safe and smooth.

On the night of Eid al-Fitr 1446 AH, with the closing of the Ramadan program fundraising and distribution, Dompet Dhuafa recorded an extraordinary achievement. The total collection reached IDR 141.8 billion with the participation of 85,178 donors and more than 500,000 beneficiaries. This achievement proves that public trust in Dompet Dhuafa continues to increase, as well as being a motivation to always carry out programs that have a broad impact on people in need.
Andriansyah, at the closing of Dompet Dhuafa’s takbiran night, said that the success of the 1446 H Ramadan program was a momentum for Dompet Dhuafa to continue innovating in spreading kindness. Each program that has been carried out not only provides short-term benefits, but also builds a sustainable ecosystem of kindness. From providing access to education for orphans, improving health services for underprivileged communities, to community-based economic empowerment, all of these are concrete efforts to achieve equitable prosperity.
