JAKARTA –— To commemorate its 13th anniversary, PT Tokio Marine Life Insurance Indonesia (Tokio Marine Life) collaborated with Dompet Dhuafa to distribute 500 food packages to underprivileged communities in three cities, namely Jakarta, Surabaya, and Medan. This activity is part of Tokio Marine Life’s Collaboration for Good series as a form of gratitude for the company’s journey, as well as the implementation of its commitment to sustainability through the distribution of corporate zakat.
The distribution was carried out in stages in three locations. The first stage took place at the Tokio Marine Life headquarters, International Financial Centre Tower 2, Jakarta, on Thursday (10/30/2025). This event was attended by the management of Dompet Dhuafa, Tokio Marine Life and its customers, as well as the beneficiaries.
Present at the event were Utammi Sri Lestari as Manager of Partnership ZIS Dompet Dhuafa and her staff, Alexander Mahendrawan as SVP of Marketing & Corporate Planning at Tokio Marine Life, and Ferawati Gondokusumo as Head of Marketing Communication & Corporate Branding at Tokio Marine Life.

In her speech, Utammi Sri expressed her appreciation for Tokio Marine Life’s initiative in distributing corporate zakat through Dompet Dhuafa.
“We appreciate Tokio Marine Life’s commitment to not only focusing on business growth, but also caring for those in need. Hopefully, this collaboration will be the beginning of broader cooperation in sustainable empowerment programs,” she said.
Meanwhile, Alexander Mahendrawan emphasized that this activity is a tangible manifestation of Tokio Marine Life’s value of “To Be a Good Company,” especially on the occasion of the company’s 13th anniversary.
“For us, the number 13 is not just the age of the company, but a symbol of a long journey full of learning, challenges, and gratitude.
Therefore, instead of celebrating with festivities, we chose to share with the communities in need around where the company operates. Through our collaboration with Dompet Dhuafa, we hope that this assistance can ease the burden on the community and bring blessings to all parties,” he said.

Through this activity, Tokio Marine Life and Dompet Dhuafa hope to continue working together, not only in providing daily necessities, but also in sustainable community economic empowerment programs.
The event was warm and full of togetherness, ending with a symbolic handover of food packages and a group photo. Tokio Marine Life customers were also present and expressed their appreciation for the distribution. This is a form of support for the company’s social programs. (Dompet Dhuafa)
