JAKARTA —–— PT Symrise Indonesia handed over donations of food packages and hygiene kits for flood and landslide survivors on the island of Sumatra through Dompet Dhuafa on Thursday (12/18/2025) at Menara Bidakara, Menteng Dalam, South Jakarta.
The donation handover was attended by PT Symrise Indonesia’s management and staff. Meanwhile, Dompet Dhuafa was represented by the Partnership Team, namely Serly and Sukma.
Nabila, a representative from PT Symrise Indonesia’s Marketing Division, expressed her gratitude to Dompet Dhuafa for the successful collaboration.
“Thank you, Dompet Dhuafa Foundation. Today, December 18, PT Symrise Indonesia is collaborating with Dompet Dhuafa to donate to communities affected by disasters in Sumatra,” Nabila told Dompet Dhuafa.
“The donations we contributed include rice, mineral water, sardines, corned beef, biscuits, instant noodles, milk, and hygiene kits,” she added.
Nabila revealed the reason why her company chose to partner with Dompet Dhuafa. According to her, Dompet Dhuafa’s social media is very active in encouraging the public to donate to Sumatra.
“First, because we saw that Dompet Dhuafa’s social media was active in sharing updates on disaster information and donation results in Sumatra. And we also saw that it was registered. So, we could directly track the donations and find out the latest updates there (in Sumatra),” she explained.
From the donations that have been distributed, Nabila hopes that the collaboration between PT Symrise Indonesia and Dompet Dhuafa can facilitate the distribution of donations from the company to Sumatra.
“The hope is that with this donation collaboration with Dompet Dhuafa, the donations we collect can be distributed to the communities affected by the disaster in Sumatra,” she concluded.
On the other hand, Dompet Dhuafa representative from the Partnership Team, Selvy Safitri, expressed her gratitude and thanks to PT Symrise Indonesia for trusting Dompet Dhuafa to distribute donations for Sumatra.
“Alhamdulillah, thank you very much to PT Symrise Indonesia and all employees who have contributed to Sumatra. May your charity and kindness be rewarded many times over by Allah SWT,” said Selvy.
