85 Quran Teachers Participate in Capacity Building Training from Dompet Dhuafa

SOUTH SULAWESI — Dompet Dhuafa, through the Corps Dai Dompet Dhuafa (Cordofa) and its South Sulawesi branch, held a capacity building event for Quran teachers. Held at the Dompet Dhuafa Independent and Empowered Area (Madaya) in Arabika Village, West Sinjai District, Sinjai Regency, South Sulawesi, the event was attended by 85 Quran teachers from the Al-Qur’an Education Park (TPA) and Al-Qur’an Learning Park (TPQ) throughout West Sinjai District.

Cordofa Manager Ahmad Pranggono explained that this activity served as a forum for Quran teachers to hone their teaching skills.

“Hopefully, through this activity, Quran teachers will be assisted in improving their capacity when teaching the Quran to their students. Thus, this can have a positive impact on the children who are the future of the nation,” said Pranggono.

“This program will also, God willing, be continued by continuing to empower Quran teachers to support the improvement of the quality of Quranic education around the Madaya area,” he added.

The event was symbolically opened with the handover of the books Iqro and Panduan Mengajar Al-Qur’an (Guide to Teaching the Quran) to participant representatives. Through this event, Cordofa and Dompet Dhuafa South Sulawesi reaffirmed their commitment to empowering Quran teachers as the frontline in Quranic education. (Dompet Dhuafa)
