This fairy tale about sexual education is specifically for children, to educate them about the importance of taking care of their bodies and respecting themselves, so that they can protect themselves from an early age.

In this activity, children are taught about the parts of the body that can and should not be held as basic knowledge of sexuality in children. Children are taught to recognise private body parts and understand which ones should not be touched by others.

In addition, they are also equipped with knowledge on how to prevent and protect themselves if an unknown person approaches. The storytelling is packaged in an interesting way with hand movements to singing together, this approach is designed to provide a fun and memorable understanding for children.

Nuriyah, Dompet Dhuafa School Network Officer, also expressed her hope for this activity. She hopes that this activity can instil the value of caring and sensitivity to share with others.

‘Today I am very happy and grateful, the younger siblings of Binakheir Islamic Elementary School from level 1 to 3 are very active in participating in the activity. Moreover, in addition to sexuality education material, they are also taught humanitarian values, namely sharing, which later this value will be a provision until adulthood.’ added Nuriyah.
