BOGOR, WEST JAVA — Islamic Bilingual School (IBS) of Al Ikhlas handed over donations to SMART Ekselensia Indonesia Dompet Dhuafa students at the Orphans and Lowe-incomers Dhuafa Compensation event Thursday (10/8/20213). This event occurred at the Hall of the Human Development Institute (LPI) Dompet Dhuafa, Bogor. The donation was obtained from students’ initiative, who voluntarily donated part of their money.
The Orphans and lower incomers (Dhuafa) Compensation event with the theme “Muharram Happy, Building Care” was held in commemoration of the Islamic New Year on 1 Muharram 1445 H. Hopefully, this event can be a moment to be able to share happiness with SMART Ekselensia Indonesia students, while fostering a sense of empathy and concern for others.
“From this activity, we want to teach care to students. Hopefully, this activity plays an important role in forming a more caring, empathetic, and responsible generation for the world around them,” said Iwan Sunarya, representative of Al Ikhlas IBS Foundation.

Iwan added that this activity was held to commemorate the month of orphans, namely the month of Muharram in the Hijri year.
“We want these students from Al-Ikhlas IBS to develop empathy for others who may be disadvantaged or need help. By seeing the positive impact they can make through donations, students will learn to understand the feelings and needs of others better.”
Therefore, Yudha Andilla, as Manager of Retail Fundraising Dompet Dhuafa, welcomed this good collaboration. He said Dompet Dhuafa has long been a “foundation” for orphans, with a strong determination and continues supporting the lives of orphans and low-income people.

Dompet Dhuafa provides not only financial support but also opportunities and opportunities that enable orphans to grow and develop. Through this kind of collaboration, Dompet Dhuafa and Al Ikhlas IBS provide care and bring hope and joy into the lives of SMART Ekselensia Indonesia students.
“Today, Dompet Dhuafa and all SMART Ekselensia students who attended on this occasion, we thank the teacher council and all younger siblings willing to come to SMART Ekselensia. Thank you very much for all your attention. May Allah provide all the conveniences for you to grow into something better,” said Yudha.
The activity then continued with the symbolic handover of a donation of Rp10 million, handed over by representatives of Al Ikhlas IBS students to SMART Ekselensia Indonesia Dompet Dhuafa students. In addition, there were also creative performances from students from both schools.
In this activity, Yudha also inserted a valuable message to the entire audience, especially the students.

Hopefully, from today’s meeting, many benefits will be obtained by all of us. Not only from the younger siblings at SMART Ekselensia, the younger siblings from Al Ikhlas Islamic Bilingual School, and the teachers.
