JAKARTA — On the last Friday before entering the month of Ramadan 1445 H (8/3/2024), Dompet Dhuafa held a canvassing action in front of the Philanthropy Building, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta. This action was carried out by all Dompet Dhuafa people by distributing information sheets containing the imsakiyah schedule table during the ninth month of the 1445 Hijriyah.
The nuances of this long-awaited month enveloped the action with the performance of Rampak Bedug, a typical cultural art of Banten residents. The gambus version of Islamic music echoed in an effort to remind the public, as well as road users, that the month of Ramadan was approaching. So this is the time for ourselves to get closer. This is in line with the theme of Dompet Dhuafa’s Ramadan program this year, #RamadanMendekatkan.
Not only this time, canvassing actions are often and will continue to be held by Dompet Dhuafa in public locations during peak traffic hours. This effort was made as a form of hope to strengthen public awareness.

“This event is a series to enliven the month of Ramadan and provide information through the distribution of imsakiyah schedules to motorists passing in front of the Dompet Dhuafa office. At the event, we have raised the atmosphere or nuances of Ramadan through the excitement of Rampak Bedug,” said Hasan Afif as Senior Officer Brand Activation Dompet Dhuafa.
In Ramadan 1445 H, Dompet Dhuafa carries 11 excellent programs to make others happy and empowered. The eleven programs include Tebar Zakat Fitrah, Grebeg Kampung, Sharing Sahur and Iftar Packages, Mudik Post, Free Dhuafa Mudik, Ramadan Parcels, Borong Takjil, Quran Alms, THR Family Fighters, Ramadan in Palestine, and Muliakan Yatim. Through these programs, in this blessed month, Dompet Dhuafa wants to invite all Muslims to collaborate in supporting good programs.
At the end of the event, Hasan represented the big family of Dompet Dhuafa to welcome and carry out the fasting of Ramadan 1445 H. He emphasized that Dompet Dhuafa is very open to all forms of collaborative invitations for goodness. In accordance with the theme, this Ramadan is expected to be able to bring closer to good deeds, bring closer togetherness, bring closer mustahik and muzakki, bring closer collaborator partners, to lead to getting closer to the Divine.
