BANTEN — To celebrate National Posyandu Day 2025, Layanan Kesehatan Cuma-cuma (LKC) Dompet Dhuafa held a series of simultaneous activities in various program areas throughout Indonesia. This activity is a tangible manifestation of LKC Dompet Dhuafa’s commitment to raising public awareness of the importance of maternal and child health from an early age.
In Banten Province, one of the event locations is the Healthy Village of Cimaung, Sukaraja Village, Cikeusal Sub-district, Serang Regency. This area is one of the communities supported by LKC Dompet Dhuafa Banten, which actively develops community-based health programs. The event, held on Tuesday (April 15, 2025), was attended by 57 participants, including mothers of infants, young children, and community health workers from the Healthy Village area. The enthusiasm and dedication of the participants were evident from early morning, reflecting the high level of community interest in efforts to improve family health quality.

Various exciting competitions were held during this event. Among them was the Healthy Toddler Competition, which aimed to monitor the growth and development of children on a regular basis while also educating parents about child health standards. Additionally, there was the Health Educator Competition, a platform for honing the skills of health educators in effectively and engagingly conveying health information to the community. Equally exciting, the Top 1 Contest for Toddler Mothers tests mothers’ knowledge on various important aspects of maternal and child health, from healthy eating habits to basic immunizations.
As a token of appreciation for active participation and achievements, LKC Dompet Dhuafa Banten has prepared attractive prizes for winners in each competition category, namely first, second, and third place. These prizes are hoped to serve as additional motivation for participants to continue developing their knowledge and skills in the field of family health.

Adding to the excitement of the event, representatives from the village also attended and served as judges, providing objective assessments of the competition. The presence of village officials also strengthened the synergy between the LKC Dompet Dhuafa program and the village government in their joint efforts to build a healthier community.
With the holding of this event, LKC Dompet Dhuafa hopes that the commemoration of National Posyandu Day will not merely be a ceremonial occasion but truly serve as a turning point in raising public awareness of the importance of posyandu. Posyandu should be at the forefront in building a healthy, strong, and quality generation, as an investment in the nation’s future. (Dompet Dhuafa)
