Check In for Ramadan, Check Out Blessings: A Collaboration Between Hotel Ariandri Puncak and Dompet Dhuafa Brings Goodness During the Holy Month

WEST JAVA —-— Dompet Dhuafa, in collaboration with a tourist destination and accommodation in Puncak, Bogor—Hotel Ariandri—launched a special program during the month of Ramadan 1447 Hijri. Under the theme “Check In Ramadan, Check Out Blessings,” Hotel Ariandri Puncak invited and facilitated hotel guests and the local community to experience the spirit of Ramadan within the hotel through various activities held throughout the month.

For the entire month, Ziswaf (zakat, infak, sedekah, and wakaf) services and donation collection were available on-site via a Dompet Dhuafa Ziswaf service booth. This initiative was designed to make it easier and more accessible for hotel guests and the local community to consult and fulfill their zakat obligations during Ramadan and the Eid al-Fitr holiday. This convenience is further supported by the availability of QRIS and a dedicated digital donation portal as easier payment alternatives.

Moreover, the spirit of Ramadan is further strengthened by donations from guests and the management of Hotel Ariandri. Additionally, there is a shared iftar meal with the local community. These distributed donations serve as a form of social compassion for residents affected by floods and landslides in Sumatra and Aceh. These donations were collected from a portion of transactions made during Ramadan and the Eid al-Fitr holiday, as well as from donation boxes provided throughout Ramadan at Hotel Ariandri.

The spirit of kindness during Ramadan was further enhanced by the Kalcer Ramadan Study Session, which combined a cooking class with Chef Ocit (a finalist on MasterChef Indonesia Season 9) with an iftar meal shared with orphans and the local community. Under the theme “Moment of Kindness,” the cooking class was warmly received by dozens of community members and orphans, who participated with great enthusiasm. Meanwhile, the Kalcer Ramadan Study Session with Ustaz KH Apan Abdul Goni, themed “Productive and Blessed Families During Ramadan,” explored how to maximize acts of kindness within families during Ramadan to receive abundant blessings.

“This is part of Dompet Dhuafa’s collaboration this Ramadan. The theme, Kalcer, comes from the word culture—specifically, the culture of today’s youth. Tourist destinations and their supporting facilities include hotels; this is our first collaboration in the Jabodetabek area, and the only one at Hotel Ariandri. As a result, there will be various activities such as donations for Sumatra, Ramadan discussions, cooking classes, and a collaborative donation booth to facilitate visitors’ contributions, infak, and sedekah. “Moving forward, we also plan to expand our collaboration through the ‘Jelajah Desa’ program with Hotel Ariandri Puncak,” said Dimas Muttakhin, Community Relations Officer at Dompet Dhuafa, on Wednesday (March 4, 2026).

Meanwhile, Raymond, General Manager of Ariandri Hotel and Resort, said that by partnering with Dompet Dhuafa, visitors and the community have greater confidence in the programs to be implemented. It also sends a message to the public that the hotel is opening the doors of blessings to its guests. Visitors can make donations, infaq, and zakat directly—either in person or via bank transfer—at the Dompet Dhuafa booth.

“You get the staycation and you get to donate. That’s why we partnered with Dompet Dhuafa. People will naturally trust us more. We have the tagline ‘Check-in for Ramadan, Check-out with Blessings.’ We organize various charitable activities here, as well as free weekly village meetings. Since Puncak is already congested with heavy traffic and our location is right by the roadside, it’s strategically ideal—even for government activities,” added Raymond.

Moving forward, Dompet Dhuafa, together with the management of Hotel Ariandri, will also enliven the Village Exploration Program in collaboration with Ariandri, titled “Napak Desa.” The goal is not only to get a close look at the beauty of the tourist village but also to encourage them in the development of MSMEs. This program is part of the hotel management’s annual thematic initiatives designed to engage and enrich guests’ experiences, such as village tours and dedicated spaces for local SMEs serving residents near the hotel.
