PARIS, FRANCE — Saturday (23/4/2023) became one of the historic days for the Dai Ambassador of Dompet Dhuafa assigned to Paris, namely Ustaz M. Abdul Kholiq Hasan. The reason is that on that day, there was a happy event where Ustaz Abdul Kholiq had the opportunity to become the marriage guardian of an Indonesian citizen couple (WNI) with a foreigner.
Located in Paris, Susi Sundari bint Naskam married Aziz, aka Robert Student bin Andrzej Student who converted to Islam. This Islamic marriage process took place at the house of Susi Sundari’s older sister, Neili. On that occasion, the family and close relatives of the bride and groom were also present.
Following Islamic commandments, the bridegroom also offers dowry to the bride. The dowry includes rings, bracelets, white gold earrings weighing 4 grams, and a set of prayer tools paid in cash.
This wedding became crucial for Aziz, aka Robert Student and Susi Sundari and their families. Because the two went through a long preparation process until they finally managed to hold the wedding smoothly.
