SOUTH TANGERANG —-— Dompet Dhuafa has once again partnered with Bintaro Jaya Xchange (BXc) Mall for a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program
during Ramadan 1447 Hijri. This time, 50 orphans and underprivileged children from the area surrounding BXc Mall were invited to play and learn about the aquatic life at BXSea.
Titled “Honor Orphans with Dompet Dhuafa and BXc Mall,” the event, which took place on Thursday (02/26/2026), aimed to provide a recreational and educational experience for orphans and underprivileged children. During this holy month of Ramadan, the event also served as an opportunity to strengthen the values of empathy, solidarity, and compassion for others.

The event began at 2:00 PM, starting with a tour to see the diverse marine and freshwater life, as well as reptiles, at the massive BXSea aquarium. In addition to the aquarium, there is also a large underwater tunnel that left the children in awe of the beauty of the various aquatic creatures.
“Earlier, I saw fish of all sizes, from big to small. I saw marine animals like seahorses, otters, penguins, and others. I’m a little tired (because of fasting), but it was still exciting and fun,” said Diandra Athaya after playing at BXSea.

Athaya admitted it was her first time visiting BXSea. From this first visit, a look of happiness radiated from Athaya. It wasn’t just Athaya; happiness also greeted Gathan Azka Alghifari, who was also visiting BXSea for the first time.
“It’s so much fun; there are lots of animals there (at the BXSea Aquarium). This is my first time at BXSea in BXc Mall,” said Gathan.

After having fun playing and learning with their mentors at BXSea, the orphans and underprivileged children performed the Asr prayer in congregation at the mosque. After finishing the Asr prayer and waiting for the time to break their fast, they watched a nasheed performance by the BXc Mall Team together.
After the nasheed performance ended, the orphans and underprivileged children were given school kits to support their learning activities at school.
“Yes, they distributed school kits earlier. I received a pencil case, a notebook, a backpack, a water bottle, and other supplies like a pencil case, socks, and a pen,” said Athaya.
“Thank you, Dompet Dhuafa and BXc Mall, for inviting me to play (at BXSea) and for the school supplies,” said Gathan.

The joy radiating from the orphans and the underprivileged is proof that this event has had a profoundly positive impact on them. It also provided them with a memorable experience of play and learning.
As it was time to break the fast, their smiles and cheerfulness shone through as they enjoyed the iftar meal. After breaking the fast, they gathered to perform the Maghrib prayer in congregation at the mosque.
After Maghrib prayer, the highlight of the event—the distribution of aid to the orphans and the underprivileged—took place. This aid, resulting from our collaboration, is a manifestation of our care and support to encourage them to remain enthusiastic in performing their religious duties during the holy month of Ramadan.
On this occasion, Tri Wiyono, the Operations Supervisor and member of the BXc Mall Mosque Prosperity Council, expressed his appreciation to Dompet Dhuafa for renewing this collaboration during the month of Ramadan. He said that Dompet Dhuafa has a strong influence in supporting the continuity of this event.
“The Dompet Dhuafa team is very effective in supporting our activities during the holy month of Ramadan. Moving forward, we hope to be even more innovative when organizing similar activities,” he explained.
