LAMPUNG — Dompet Dhuafa together with Hijra Bank collaborate in distributing sacrificial animals to remote parts of the country. Through the Tebar Hewan Kurban (THK) Program, as many as 11 sacrificial sheep have been distributed in 3 locations, namely Lampung, Banten, and NTT on Thursday (28/6/2023).
In Lampung, the slaughter of eight sheep was carried out in the DD Farm Lampung pen which was then distributed to the people of Tulung Agung Village, Gadingrejo, Pringsewu. The benefit recipients of sacrificial meat expressed their gratitude and pleasure, because some of them claimed that they rarely get a share of sacrificial meat every moment of Eid al-Adha.
The Dompet Dhuafa Partnership Team, Diana Rahma said, Hijra Bank and Dompet Dhuafa have helped the Indonesian people a lot through many programs of kindness, both from the health sector to the empowerment of MSMEs. This synergy aims to have the widest possible positive impact on the people of Indonesia.
“The sacrificial meat entrusted by Hijra Bank is distributed to underprivileged communities. In the distribution, we communicate with the Dompet Dhuafa Lampung Team and local community leaders so that the distribution is really right to target, for those in need,” she said.
Meanwhile, Yogi Achmad Fajar as the Head of the Dompet Dhuafa Lampung Branch explained that the majority of Tulung Agung Village residents are farmers and casual daily laborers. There are still many residents here who did not get a share of sacrificial meat in previous years. So it is very targeted when the implementation of THK Dompet Dhuafa is held in this village.
The distance between the houses that are far apart and muddy became a challenge for the THK distribution team. This condition is reasonable, because this area is a rice field area and we can still also find many forests. However, this matter did not discourage the team. Using the Mobile Kitchen (Darling) car, the team searched every house of residents who deserved to receive sacrificial meat.

The slaughtering and distribution process went well and smoothly. All animals were slaughtered according to Islamic law and distributed according to the provisions set by Dompet Dhuafa.
“Alhamdulillaah, all processes went smoothly. We try our best to channel this trust. Hopefully this can be a provision for all of us in the afterlife,” said Yogi.
One of the recipients of sacrificial meat was Yuliasih (44) with her husband and three children. She expressed a lot of gratitude when she received the sacrificial meat from Dompet Dhuafa. At that time, the husband was working as a farm laborer, while she was making woven bamboo for fish. This activity became a daily routine thing done by Yuliasih and her husband.
“Usually during Eid al-Adha, we don’t get the meat. Depending on if there are many sacrifices in the mosque, yes sometimes we can get it. If there isn’t, we don’t get it,” she said.
In addition to Yuliasih, there are still hundreds of other families who feel the same way. One sacrificial kindness entrusted by every sacrifice performer in Dompet Dhuafa has provided many benefits for those in need. #SatuKurbanBanyakKebaikan (Dompet Dhuafa/Muthohar)
